    zpbarn01 - I'll start by saying this was my first buffet on Disney property. I arrived for a dinner ADR with my girlfriend on a Saturday at 7:45pm. I checked in around 7:30 and received a beeper. The crowd of people waiting to be seated was HUGE. We were seated around 8 pm. The hostess that seated us was very polite and engaged us in conversation. Our waiter arrived and took our drink orders and very militantly ran down how the character interaction works. The dinner buffet food quality was certainly Golden Corral at best, as someone previously reported in a review. The character interaction is brief but fun. From the perspective of two adults for dinner, not on the dining plan, this is a terrible value and I would not recommend it.

    oneboyonegirl1 - We ate here for dinner, during the Electric Light Parade. Even with a reservation, we had to wait on the crowded porch to get in. Kids were tired and crabby. But, we all enjoyed our food and service. The kids liked meeting the characters and we had a nice view of the fireworks.

    lisakramer - Our favorite character meal and our only MUST DO for every visit. We always make reservations for before rope drop so that we get in to the park before the rest of the world. It's amazing to be the only ppl walking down main street. The breakfast is great. You have to try the kids french toast puffs! YUM! The characters are wonderful! They take time to interact, take pictures, etc. The service is always good as well.

    SydneyFalco - We were a married Canadian couple travelling the first week of December. Eight nights, deluxe dining plan. We ended up going to Crystal Palace twice for lunch (the second time on the fly), and we don't even have kids. The reason is that there's no better place to sit down and grab a bite in the Magic Kingdom during midday. The servers are all top notch veteran types and there's a strong variety of eats available. I could load up on the meat and taters while the wife found a curi and plenty of more complicated mixed dishes. For a character meal full of kids it's a surprisingly relaxing place, too.

    magicofdisney1 - My family and I absolutely looooove Crystal Palace! We eat there every time we visit Magic Kingdom, which is very often. The breakfast buffet is very kid friendly and also great for adults. We've also been for dinner and it was "ok" but we prefer the breakfast. Overall, it's really great and the characters are amazing! We are planning to visit Disney next month and are looking forward to our annual breakfast at Crystal Palace!

    melissafox18 - DH and I ate here for breakfast on our last full day here. The food here was a typical buffet. Nothing super special about it. It was very nice to get into the park before open. Lots of ability to take photos in front of and of the castle with very few people around! The pooh french toast was delicious! Everything else was very standard breakfast food. Great place for kids. All characters stop at the table at some point. Lines for the buffet weren't too long at all!

    Cokaho - My 9 year old son and I went to eat breakfast. We originally had a reservation for 4, but my younger son wasn't feeling well. We had an ADR, but had to wait 15 minutes for seating. The food was great, everything was warm and fresh. I enjoyed the selection of fruits and even took a banana and granola bar for the road. My son got a kick out of the characters, and couldn't contain his excitement. I have to admit I teared up when Pooh gave me a bear hug. The characters came around pretty quickly and were very gracious when we were taking pictures.

Although he is older and didn't really care about the characters going around, he was full of smiles and laughter when they did approach our table. Our server was delightful and attentive. The food was terrific, especially the french toast. This is one place we won't pass up when we return to Disney!

    marylandgirl - We love Crystal Palace breakfast. We always get the earliest reservation, that way it is quieter and we don't have to rush. Plus, that means we get into MK before it even opens and can take great photos on Main Street. The food is really good. We love the potatoes and the kids love the Mickey waffles. The place is nice and bright, very pretty building. The characters are so fun and spend some good time with each table. It wouldn't be a Disney trip for us without eating here.

    bellebookworm9 - I have eaten here twice; the cost indicated was for breakfast only. We ate here for dinner in 2007. I was very sick at that point and didn't eat much but I do recall the fire roasted spoon bread being a stand out. My mom and I ate here for breakfast in May 2010. Our ADR was for 8:05am and we were seated very quickly. Our server was Amir and he was fantastic. Between the two of us we ate: two Mickey waffles, two strips of bacon, two donut holes, one biscuit, two pieces of Pooh's puffed french toast, one slice of breakfast pizza, one cinnamon bun, one dish of Pooh's Peach Casserole and some scrambled eggs, plus an enormous plate of fruit. Everything was great, especially the fruit. Mom raved about the scrambled eggs. The character interaction was great, and Tigger was very flirty-he wanted to dance with me! We were brought small cupcakes as well as cards signed by all the characters for our birthdays. Breakfast here is my favorite meal in Disney and I highly recommend it

The restaurant is gorgeous and aery, and the characters stop at each table, even if it's a table of adults (like my boyfriend and I) to give you hugs and take pictures!     mom24kids81 - We had the last seating here, didn't care for how they called out for people ( very quiet voiced calls,why no buzzers like other restaurants?) we weren't the only ones that missed their names the first time and we were waiting right on the porch. This was in our top character meals. The dinner buffet was awesome! Winnie the Pooh and friends were just SO friendly and taking their time with each table. They stayed mingling around for such a long time. Our meal was not rushed,our waitress was attentive. Meal plan or not I would come here and highly recommend it to others along with 1900 Park Fare!!

    Nadjalu - We love Crystal Palace. Everything has been wonderful. The food is always good. Love the carving station! The restaurant itself is so quaint, it reminds me of being in a Mary Poppins movie. :) The location is perfect for not leaving the park to get good food. It is nice to get out of the sun, sit and eat, yet not be far from the action. Definitely a plus in our book!

My children loved the atmosphere and it had great character interaction. The restaurant was very crowded so it was hard to get around. Overall, a great experience. This is a MUST DO!

    DaisyFoote - We went into CP with a negative from the get go; we had hoped to get into MK for this 8:10 ADR in order to beat the crowds and get a head start on a very popular attraction. MK changed their opening time at the last minute to 8:00 and ruined that plan. So heads up, if you want to beat the crowds in the park, schedule your 8:00 ADR for either Monday or Wednesday (unless they change their emh to one of those days). So, CP had a lot to overcome in my mind before we even walked in the door (even though it wasn't their fault I know). All was made right when I went in and saw their buffett - amazing. The food was so very good and our waitress was extremely nice. The characters were excellent - one of my dh's highlights of the trip was when Tigger licked him because he was so happy he wore a shirt with Tigger on it. A tip though - schedule this ADR early in your trip. There are many places to meet Pooh and friends. My dd had actually already met all the characters here except for Piglet. Maybe we should have made her wait until this meal to meet the characters, but that's hard to do when your dd is a Pooh fan and you see them earlier. It's hard to say, "Wait 5 days honey and you can eat breakfast with them." It was a great experience though; one we will repeat next time.

Part of the fun was that we had early reservations, and were able to enter the park before it opened, and seeing the streets of Disney all but deserted is pretty cool. The ambiance is nice, all of the characters made their way to the table, and the breakfast was great. Our server was great too!

The only bad thing was two annoying families near us who would try to pull the characters back to their table for additional pictures when it was finally our turn to meet them. Wait time was not bad, but be sure to have a reservation.

    Andy48 - Our family went to Crystal Palace for lunch in February, and we had a wonderful time. Food: Good selections were the salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, cinnamon basmati rice, and the pizza. Almost everything else was pretty forgettable. The kids' macaroni and cheese was also very good. Aside from the apple cobbler and cookies, dessert was nothing special. Service: Considering that this was a buffet, I have to say that the service was really very good. The server struck up conversation with us, and I never saw an empty glass at our table. Plates were cleared promptly. Characters: This is where Crystal Palace gets very high marks - these were, by far, our best character interactions of the whole vacation. Even considering the fact that we had three of the characters practically to ourselves for the first 15 minutes (c'mon, were we the only ones with an 11:30am ADR???), each of them spent quality time joking with the kids, hamming it up for the cameras, and goofing around with each other. The kids look back at lunch with Tigger as one of their fondest memories of the trip. Bottom Line: Amazing character experience in a wonderful location, great for a lunchtime break, though the food itself could've been a little more consistent. Be sure to request an early seating for mealtime. Lunch at 11:30am was outstanding, but we might've had a less memorable experience at 12:30pm.

    DisneyFamily123 - Dec. 2010 - twice for lunch this trip, twice last year, and once for dinner in 2008. What I like is the food quality, service, and everything is consistent. Each time, very pleased with the food (higher quality than your usual buffet). The carved meats, ratatouie, and cold salads are my favorites. Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet are great. Food just as good or better than the other table service choices in MK. This is a must do for us, and will definitely return again, maybe try breakfast next time.

    princessag - We had ADR for 2:10, was seated around 2:45. I can live with that, the problem I saw and heard was that they had been taking walk-ins until 2:30. That irked me because we had made ADR and were not being seated due to them taking walk-ins. I did not feel that this was right. I witnessed several of the walk-ins who were still waiting, getting very upset because they had been waiting so long, however, there were people who had ADR's who were having to wait longer than the advertised "we'll seat you within 20 min of your ADR". I had tried to change our ADR to earlier in the day and there were no openings, so why would they take walk-ins? Character interaction was good and the food was decent.

    Dr.Awesome - The buffet here is great with plenty to choose from. Pooh and friends were floating about while we were there. Great photos, but bring your own camera, no photopass here. My kids LOVED it, I found it a bit chaotic; it's not an easy task to go and fill a plate without dodging a neon orange tiger. We love Tigger, but we like eating, too.     ncc1701 - Had breakfast here on 11/15/10.Had an ADR of 8:25am & were seated on time. Egg dishes were hot and the buffet had a great varitey of fresh fruit.If you want not so healthy fruit I recommend the Pooh cobbler.Our server Mike was attentive about refilling our drinks. We were celebrating our anniversary and we got a card signed by Pooh & the gang. We were done in aliitel less than an hour and the characters were staring their 2nd pass around our location.

    roxiepenguin - We had the character breakfast the first day of our trip (9/23/10) and were really let down. We checked in at the front w/ our ADR info... behind a lady asking for walk-up ressies. They took her name/info, then got to us. Guess who was in and seated before us? Yep, lady ahead of us without ADR. We had a pretty late ADR time but it was interesting to see so many empty tables when we finally got in. (Did I mention where we passed a LOT of tables full of very bored-looking families obviously done with their food and just waiting for characters?!?!) Meet server. Server with bright alarmingly-blue eye shadow. Not very "Disney". (I think this is the point in the trip I was starting to see what all the folks on here are talking about with "Disney going downhill".) Anywhooo. Server informed us it would take an hour and 15 minutes to see all of the characters. (Thus, the bored-family syndrome is explained!) Each trip to the buffet was uneventful and the food was cold and/or rock hard by the time we got back to the table. The 'chef' making the omelette for my DBF had zero personality, but at least the omelette stayed a little warmer. We were on DDP and if we had paid for this OOP we would've been even more disappointed. (About $70 for the two of us… for hard/cold pancakes, completely non-edible waffles, runny scrambled eggs, etc.) As it was, we chocked it up to a late breakfast ADR time so the CMs must've been getting tired after the rush, kitchen wasn't making fresh food... whatever. Our server was also kind enough to point out that tips aren't included in the DDP. (Yes, since I made all of the trips for food myself, I'll be sure you get that suggested 18% already nicely figured out for me on the bill.) Wow. It didn't ruin our day but I CERTAINLY would not recommend this dining exp!!! (Only real positive I did learn if you’re going to eat here: DO make a later ADR time for the meal you're having! The restaurant was almost empty by the time we were done and all four characters were out and about, taking time at each table, Tigger had time (and room) to bounce around on chairs, etc., ..though they were tearing down breakfast and getting ready for lunch at that time, so it was pretty obvious they were trying to get the rest of us out.)

    MAYNARDS99 - Reservation for two at 715PM on Labor Day 2010. Arrived very early at 630PM, checked in, and asked about being seated early. Pager went off five minutes later and we were seated promptly in Robert C's section. Wow! The food was great! The spinach soup, cucumber salad, roasted pork, mussels and clams, peel and eat shrimp, and soft serve ice cream were all outstanding. As two adults without kids it was a bit loud, but that is to be understood. The other half enjoyed dining with Piglet while I was at the buffet. (Very scary to see a 45 year old man grinning that way!) We truly enjoyed our dinner. The only thing that could improve the experience, a "quiet" dining room. I did not mind tipping $15 for the wonderful service. The other half must of drank 2 gallons of iced tea!

    mftmere - We enjoyed our time with the Hundred Acre Wood gang -- Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eyeore and Tigger were great! Even saw two parades that the kids seemed to love! Food was good -- Pooh stuffed french toast was AMAZING!!!! The main negative about this restaurant would be the screaming children who are actively being bribed to stay put....and who may just need to grow up a little before their parents bring them back!! Clearly, though, this isn't a CP negative :)

    vadisneyfam - This was the best character dining experience of our trip. The big four: Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore are all at this buffet, and their interaction with the kids is fun. It does take about an hour and fifteen minutes to see them all as the rotate through the tables though, so plan accordining. The food was delicious with a decent selection. The only disappointing part was that we waited over half an hour even with a reservation, and apparently this happens most days of the year according to the staff.

    irishtigger - 5/11 and 5/16 We ate both breakfast and lunch here and everything was perfect.Everything was perfect as usual. The food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was attentive and nice. I didn’t have to ask for a refill it was there every time. The Mickey waffles are my favorite. We waited maybe 10 minutes to be sat for both of our reservations. This is my favorite character buffet.

    Yzerbear19 - In the past we've gone to the Crystal Palace, but decided to try it for breakfast this trip. We managed to get an 8:10 ADR, which was awesome because we got into the park before it opened. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. The food was good, though I didn't eat much since I was still recovering from getting sick the day before. The fruit was really good and very fresh. The characters were wonderful, though we didn't get to see Pooh. He had come around when my sister wasn't at our table. Eeyore was the best. We both liked the breakfast a bit better than the dinner buffet. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it.

    TeaJay - We had an ADR and came about thirty minutes before our time. Unfortunately, they must've forgotten about us because 5 minutes after our reservation my mom had to go up and remind them that we were still waiting. After that, we were seated relatively quickly. Obviously, a lot of kids so it is loud. The food is good for a buffet. Lots of veggies and interesting mixes such as a mediterranean couscous. Our favorite part was the characters, very friendly and nice. The staff were not overly friendly but not rude either, a lot of people to serve so you can't expect too much personal service. Overall, recommend if you like Pooh characters.

    3xmom - We started out by waiting about 20 minutes past our ADR time. The service was okay. Food was good (breakfast)-my kids expecially loved the fresh fruit. Pretty much standard breakfast buffet food, We enjoyed getting to the park and doing a few rides and then having a break for a late breakfast.

Our waiter explained when we could see the characters and they all spent a lot of time with us hugging, taking pics and autos. We enjoyed taking a break from the heat and it was worth every penny seeing the joy on my kids faces. Our favorites are the salmon, flank steak, spoon bread, roasted veggies and desserts. Our kids ate from both the kids and the adult lines and they didn't charge us extra. They add the tip for over 5 persons which was fine with me because our waiter was great! He had starring contests with our shy one that she is still talking about! We loved all the attention and wonderful food.

    jjbelanger - We did eat lunch at this buffet before but with my kids it was the first time. First let me say that the food is fine. Almost all of the items where good. Ice cream was just ok. But you don't pay 75$ for a lunch just for the food but for the characters. In this case they came to our table only once and fast. If you miss them it could take up to 1.5 hours before they come back. Our waitress did tell us not to miss them because it could be very long before they came back. Not the best place if you want a quick bite. Also be sure to make ADR. If not you will have to wait even more. In conclusion, eat somewhere else if you can.

    KimberlyE - Loved this character meal. The staff were so cordial and really went all out to mark all the celebrations in our party. We saw others get the same attention. We had a huge glitter heart on our table (our anniversary) and the server brought us a mini cake with a candle. Our son received a huge color photo of Mickey signed by each member of the 100 Acre Woods. Food was delicious (we had 5 character meals during our trip and this food was at the top). Only negatives was a long wait for the omelet station and the trade-off regarding the characters. They spend a great deal of time with your table but that also means you have a wait until they reach you. We just filled our plates and ate while we waited. Bets of all you just can't beat getting to see the castle on a nearly empty street and strolling leisurely to be in line when Dumbo opens!

    indychristine - we go to CP everytime we are at WDW, about 2-3 times a year. the last time we were there was also the first time we had dinner, usually we have breakfast reservations. we have always enjoyed the food here and the dinner was no exception, it was a good variety and good quality. Recently we have had to wait usualy over 20 minutes to be seated, this is unusual. We have always had very nice service and the characters always are attentive, spending plenty of time for pictures .     bakemma - We waited 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, it was HOT out too and no place to sit. Lunch was being laid out and we were there for breakfast so they moved a pathetic offering of the morning leftovers to one corner of the buffet and told us to enjoy. We will never go here again, it's much too expensive to just get a couple of character's signatures and not eat. I would have been embarrassed to serve anyone that swill.

    edithkitty - i am satified with food and services, love the food, but the characters, well the character (piglet) visit our table and suddenly the piglet goes away for the party, only my sister takes picture with her, and i keep trying to hold her for a photo, and she just ignore me at all!she should be go away after taken picture with me and my mom, and when she comes back, she forgot our table!!

    FigmentGal96 - We had an 11:30am lunch seating on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 for a party of 5. When we arrived at the restaurant to check in there was quite a line. The process of getting people into the restaurant seemed a little disorganized, but it was obvious they were turning the restaurant over from breakfast to lunch. Once we were in the person who seated us was very pleasant; she even made sure to bring me a button for my birthday since I hadn't been given one previous to then. Our server, Atika, was pleasant and helpful and brought us drink refills before we asked. We were told exactly what pattern the characters followed in the restaurant and how long to allow to see all of them. The lunch buffet choices were many and all of good quality. Everything I tried I liked. I never felt rushed and was in no hurry to move on since I was having a good time. We had plenty of seating space. I would definitely eat at the Crystal Palace again.

    Ahabart - This was a surprising hit! My girls 5 and 4, loved the characters. The meal was really yummy (DH is a foodie and thought the salmon was some of the best he's ever had). It's a little crazy, but it is DW afterall. We did dinner this time and might consider breakfast next trip.

    msufan - Love this place. Our service was so incredible. Tigger was funny, and the other characters were very nice. Try the southwestern chicken salad. YUMMY!! Had a steak and ham carving station. It also had ice cream machines with tons of add ons. I would recomend this place to anyone, even if you aren't there for the characters and don't mind spending the money.

They took their time at each table allowing for any number of pictures and signed autographs. The food is standard buffet food, but the selection was good. We've enjoyed this time and again. The decor is lovely and bright. I find this one of my favorite places to go.

    zinkfamily - We just finished our first Disney trip in mid July 2009. Needless to say it was hot. We had reservations at 1pm. We waited about 15 mins and were rescued from the heat outside. The buffet was nice and the seating was soft on the eyes and the bootie. Our waiter was nothing short of amazing. He noticed my wifes and best friends Disney birthday button and sang Happy Birthday with Tigger. I beleieve his name was Roger(i kick myself in the butt for not remembering his name) our dinks were always replaced before they were empty and he just really took care of us. We were a party of 8 so the gratuity was included. This was the only time during our trip that we gave above the included gratuity. The characters were great. Tigger played with us amde "faces" behind my back which my kids loved. Im a military dad so that seeing a yes sir no mam guy have bunny ears made my kids laugh. The ice cream machine was broken when we were there but since it was the middle of the day it didn't matter to us. The food was nice and the salad was fresh. I would recommend this place as a nice way to get out of the sun during the hot part of the day. I think Crystal Palace screams Disney more than any other restaurant on property. The food is great morning noon and night, the atmosphere is fun, service excellent and great classic characters. I find it difficult to be disappointed here.

    PIRATEGIRL007 - For me the best part of Crystal Palace is getting into MK before the park opening. It is worth the price and getting up early to get an unobstructed picture of Cinderella's Castle. The food was above par for breakfast but the buffett was crowded and lines were long. It was very noisy, possibly the noisiest resturaunt I have been in at WDW. And at breakfast thats pretty bad, shouldn't some of these people still be half asleep? I was super excited to go b/c Eyeore is my favorite and I even wore my Eyeore shirt and he snubbed me, not once but twice! We told our server he skipped our table and she went back to get him and he was on break, we waited a while long and he came back out and started the rotation around the resturaunt at the table behind ours and went the other way. It was very disappointing. The charectors also seem to move thru the resturaunt very slowly, noticebly slower than over venues.

    GraceLuvsWDW - Ok, well up against a lot of the Theme Park TS restaurants, Crystal Palace does ok. The food is mostly good, and you DO get to see Pooh and friends-although they can take a while to get around to you. We like coming here because, let's face it, there aren't a lot of acceptable TS resturants in MK, of all of them I'd say this one is our favorite. It's bright and sunny inside and you get to see Pooh, Eyeore, Piglet and Tigger! They are fun and there is a parade periodically where all the kids traipse through the restaurant. (Fun for the kids, not so much for the adults) There's a good selection of foods-I especially like their salads. There's a pretty good chance you'll find something good for the kiddos to eat, except for the fact that they will most likely be preoccupied with the characters and won't eat much. Too many times, after character meals my dd will say a few hours later that she's hungry! Anyway, I recommend this TS restaurant most of all the MK choices. Yes, it's overpriced for what you get (it's theme park food afterall), yes, it's a little chaotic, but a nice rest in the A/C with some characters, and the fact that you don't have to leave MK-that makes it a good experience. I had to share that on our last trip there was a mentally disabled teenager seated bhind us. He was grunting and watching Pooh and stemming with excitement over seeing Pooh. Well, Pooh finally made it over to his table and the moment between the two of them, well it just made me cry! Pooh stayed a while while the young man held tightly to him moaning with glee. It was a special moment and really embodied the magic that resides only at WDW!

    LuccaDrake - We have only eaten here for dinner but always find it very good. There is a huge variety of dishes so there is something for everyone. There is even a kids station with mac 'n' cheese, chicken nuggets, etc. Everything I've tried has been very tasty and I highly suggest going here. The character interaction is good as well but I find they don't spend as much time with you probably because it's a larger restaurant.

    TrekBoy85 - The Crystal Palace lunch buffet is probably one of the best buffets on WDW property. This buffet has a large selection of items...chicken, lunch meats, salads, breads, and of course delicious Disney mashed potatoes. The characters are fun, but due to the size of the restaraunt, it can take a while for all of them to stop by. As with other character meals, the only con is that this restaraunt can get pretty noisy. Overall a great experience!

We like to plan an 8:00am breakfast on a day that the MK opens at 9:00 so that we get in early, snap a few castle photos and can be done eating in time for park opening. The breakfast food is tasty...normal Disney buffet breakfast food. Characters come to each table in a rotating fashion. We have always seen Pooh Bear, Piglet, Tigger & Eeyore. Lots of fun, especially for the preschool set.

    bsusanmb - We always eat here for lunch or dinner with our grandkids. Food is always the same, but very tasty and fresh. Character interaction is very good and much better than standing in a line. The servers are very cheerful and helpful. Pretty restaurant, bright and airy. When there are groups of kids accompanied by chaperones, the behaviors can be very loud and unruly. We had been hit with flying food, heard inappropriate language, and just very unpleasant time with them in the restaurant. If we go in and see a large group, we ask to be seated somewhere else. We even witnessed a chaperone of teenagers arguing for 20 minutes with the server that these kids were under 10, and a few did not eat. it was awful. But, if you don't run into this, it is a nice time.

    stitchlover - This is one of our favorites and we eat here every time we visit WDW. We especially enjoy the breakfast buffet. This past trip was the first time we made a reservation before the park opened and that is a NOT TO BE MISSED experience. We will continue to make early reservations from here on out. I was in awe of walking down Main Street without the crowds. It was nice to see the Photo Pass Photographers out and ready to take your picture with the castle. Back to the review of Crystal Palace! The breakfast at Crystal Palace has nice selections for everyone in our family. They have a great selection of fruit and lighter fare but they also have the traditional bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy. These options tend to make everyone in our family very happy. The character interaction is great and we look forward to seeing the Pooh characters each and every time we visit WDW.

    TheBlundells - We have eaten here several times and always enjoy it. We prefer buffet style restaurants as the kids can always find something to eat. The characters visit you at your table and we have had them visit us on more than one occasion during a meal. Characters spend a long time at table. We tend to book for the last possible lunch time as it does tend to be quieter. Buffet is always fresh and topped up.

    msc_idiot - The food was okay - not great but not bad either. The seating was not horribly cramped, but not very spacious either. The trend seems to be just so-so. However, we were told when we sat down not to get our food till we saw the characters because if we missed them it would be about an hour till they came back around. As pretty as the building was (we had a good view of the castle from our table), I would suggest you go to Cape May instead. Or just take the monorail over to the Contemporary to Chef Mickey's.

    xipetotec - This place is one of few places you can see Eeyore ( one of DW's faves ). the kids like it for Winnie, of course. The food was okay, nothing great, but nothing too bad either. One thing I will say for them is that one of the two times we went they did not have walk-up space, and DW and I were on a trip by ourselves. so we sat at the nearby wall discussing where we were gonna eat ( we didn't want "fast food" ) when a castmember came out, asked us if we wanted to eat, and presented us with a table! yay!

    Carolinagal - The Crystal Palace is actually a very nice buffet and you can't beat the location - smack dab at the end of Main Street. The characters come on schedule, and dutifully take pictures. The buffet food itself is nice - with fresh ingredients and unique seasonings - my only complaint is there is not a lot of variety - 2 or 3 entrees does not seem enough for the size or the price. Invariably, I'll end up browsing from the kid's buffet to fill up. This location is great though if you have a large party, and don't want to leave the park and need some downtime.

    Anna114 - Not being fans of a buffet I was a little worried. We went in December for breakfast. One of the best parts of this experience was making a reservation before park opening. It was so special to go down Main Street with few or no people in site. The meal was very good. The servers were attentive. The restaurant is prettily decorated. All of the characters did make it to the table within the hour that we were there. If you are Pooh, Tigger and Piglet fans, I would recommend it.

After we were done dinner we watched the fireworks near the steps. If you have young ones that love Pooh, then its worth having the meal here.

Our server was very attentive and friendly, and our drinks were always filled. The character interaction was great! They seemed to linger at our table for an unusually long amount of time, no complaints there!

    SamIAm21 - Although, not an overwhelming Winnie the Pooh fan, I do love the Crystal Palace buffet. This is by far the best buffet in a theme park. 1900 Park Fare may be the best buffet overall, but it's a close call. The food here is always tasty, fresh and plentiful. I dare you to walk out hungry! Given the size of the restaurant, it does take quite a while to see all the characters, especially if you just missed them in the section you are seated. Between their normal routes, there's also some kiddie parades around the restaurant which also takes up some time. So, with a stroke of good luck you might get to see them all. If you have time, go ahead and wait, but honestly, I've left plenty of times without getting to see one or two of the Pooh characters!

    I<3EvilQueen - We went here to eat (as there isn't much in the Magic Kingdom for a Sitdown meal). The wait was really long (even with an ADR), but I think that was due to the fact that Tropical Storm Fay was in town and caused everyone to seek indoor space. The food was really good and for me that is what saved this meal. As it was really really loud in there. I knew it was going to be loud with kids in there but I wasn't expecting it to be THAT loud (like we were in a cave or something). The other negative is that it takes a very long time to see all the characters, and we were ingorned by Piglet. So in response we made sure we had bacon or pork for the rest of the trip.

    peacefrogdog - The other classic character meal, along with Chef Mickey's. The lunch buffet food was surprising good and the character interaction was nice. The only thing is that there isn't a lot of room in between tables. So when the characters lead the kids in the mini-parade around the restaurant, it causes a little traffic jam for those trying to return to their tables from the buffet. Overall though it's a great experience for the kids.

    NWOhioAngela - This is the best bang-for-your buck character meal on property. We always make sure to catch a meal here, usually breakfast. The buffet has all the standard breakfast fare, but the real attraction here is the characters from Winnie the Pooh. Winnie, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet make their way around the restaurant and visit at each table. (I'm always sure to tell Piglet I asked them for turkey bacon--a small fib!) We try to get the first reservation of the day and get in to the park early. There is nothing like seeing an empty Main Street.

    mmmears - We had a late (last seating) breakfast here. It was great. We rode lots of rides while the park wasn't crowded. Then, when people were pouring in, we sat down for a leisurely brunch. I really liked the breakfast buffet, especially the omelet station -- not all the character buffets have that. There were lots of items to choose from. The characters all came to our table pretty quickly (within the first 15 mins or so), and all were fun and quite good at interacting with our DD.
