lisakramer - My favorite upscale on property. Our server was helpful and talkative. Had a wonderful meal. Everything was prepared very well. The food was great quality. Loved the cheese plate appetizer. Yum! We will be back here again for sure!

bkoehl - Price was 4 adults, 4 children including appetizers, 2 alcoholic beverages and desserts x6. Food was very good. Nice selection and variety of choices. Salmon was outstanding. Buffalo was incredible. Be warned the kids Mickey puzzle dessert is $8! Waitress was very nice and knowledgable about the menu but was a little MIA at times. Overall good experience and would definitely go back!

angieinct - My DH and I wanted to try some new places 12/10 as we had gotten into a rut. Artist Point was so wonderful in every way that we cancelled our reservation to another favorite place so we could eat at Artist Point another night. The Portobello soup was divine as was the buffalo steak and snapper. Our waitress was the same both nights. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We're going back this winter and Artist Point is the first reservation we're making!

2wdwfans - We visited WDW in the first week of March 2001 and was on the Deluxe Dining Plan so the price mentioned was if we were not on the dining plan. We did order a glass of wine which was not covered by the dining plan. My wife and I had dined here before and consider it one of the best restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. We both had the artisan cheeses. I knew before we got there what I was having. I then ordered the Buffalo steak and my wife ordered the beef tenderloin. The buffalo was as tender as I remembered from the last time we dined here, and my wife said the beef tenderloin just melted in your mouth. My wife ordered the cobbler for dessert and I got the chocolate indulgence. We have absolutely not complaints and will be returning again on our next visit. You have to try this restuarant.

ShastaDog - I really enjoyed our dinner at AP. I had the Buffalo Sirloin with macaroni & cheese and the brussel sprouts. My friend had a "hot pot" with crab and big prawns over rice with a lime dressing. Both were excellent! We skipped the appetizers (though many looked good) and had wine and two desserts instead. We got a chocolate thing (choc cake with choc shavings, choc crumbs, & choc ice cream) that was okay. But the cobbler was by far the better choice. I make a blueberry cake (look up Taste of Home Blueberry Cake cups, if you want the recipe) that is exactly like this, but the addtion of the fresh rasberries and the blackberry ice cream really improved it. I may have to serve my own this way from now on! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgable. And with the exception on one fussy baby, the dining room was quite pleasant. And since we had sent our own children (17, 14, 14 & 7) off to Whispering Canyon Cafe, it was nice to enjoy a grown up meal in a more upscale setting.

mftmere - Our meal at Artist's Point was....good. Not great, like other signature restaurants (our very fav's were Jiko and Citricos), but decent. There are quite a few bold dishes on the menu, but the taste was a bit...overwhelming. For our appetizers, my husband ordered the Venison Pot Stickers -- he liked them. I ordered the Mixed Greens Salad -- pretty good. Our entrees were the Grilled Buffalo Striploin (husband) -- he liked it, mine was the Cedar Plank Roasted Wild King Salmon. I think my mistake was in following the waitresses suggestion to order the salmon medium rare....I recommend medium well. The texture wasn't pleasant....and the food was overall too much. We were told that our Deluxe Dining Plan included one side item each (in addition to our Apps) -- we chose Cheese and Macaroni (husband) and Sweet Potato-Hazelnut Gratin (me). Both were okay, but way too rich....and WAY too much food. We shared a dessert -- after all, our meal plan included it and we felt badly wasting it. We chose the Berry Cobbler with the Black Raspberry Ice Cream. Each part of the dessert would be good....separately. Together, though, the berries were EXTREMELY overwhelming. All in all, I recommend trying Artist's Point. The ambiance is unique, the Wilderness Lodge is magnificent (we stayed there and LOVED it), and the selections are incredible....but if you're on the Deluxe Dining Plan....consider paying for items separately. There is NO WAY anyone can eat all that is included -- maybe half of it if you have a huge capacity to consume (that would be my husband....but even he struggled to eat half).

safetymom - We had a fantastic server Izzi. I ordered the buffalo and is was delicious. The scallop appetizer was very tasty. I wish they would have some chicken selections for my daughter.

missminniemouse - This location serves buffalo steaks and salmon that are both very good. I like the diversity in their menu that isn't available at some of the other restaurants. The portobello mushroom soup is the best! The atmosphere here is very nice. It is very relaxing compared to some of the other table service restaurants on property. Our servers have always been attentive here. I even asked for the recipe for the mushroom soup and was given it. Too bad I don't have a smoker at home to properly smoke the mushrooms for this delicious soup.

TallMumHP - I went back to the restaurant the second time to mainly to have the Portobello Mushroom Soup. Fantastic! The rest of the dinner was excellent. Had the waiter recommend the main course both time and both times it very enjoyable. Wine selection is also excellent.

hideeh - We have dined here several times, most recently in May 2009. It is a favorite of ours. The food choices are unique to the Pacific Northwest and always have a lot of thought put in to them. On our past trip I ate poached wild boar on the recommendation of our server. Something I would never consider any other place. (I'm not that adventurous!) The salmon here is always primo. Chef flys it in fresh and it is never farm raised. If you have the opportunity to request a server I suggest asking for Izzy (Michael). He is so knowledgeable and his love of food and wine bubble over. We have never regretted trying his recommendations. The management and chefs of this location are always approachable and engaging too. Excellent choice to dine...we always save this for our last night of vacation.

dpuck1998 - If I judged on my second meal here it would be a 10, however my first meal at Artist Point was a horrible experience. Our water was the worst and left us to fend for ourselves more the meal. Glad I went back though, second time was amazing.

lady danger - A friend and I dined here in August '07 and enjoyed this experience! The food and service were very good, and the restaurant itself was very comfortable and spacious (something we greatly appreciated given how cramped and crowded a lot of restaurants on property are). I should preface this review by saying that I was a little tipsy walking into it, so looking back I'm not sure if my glowing feelings toward this meal are due to its merits or because I was feeling no pain and was easily pleased that night. We had escaped the Magic Kingdom earlier that afternoon because it was horribly hot and sticky, and we killed time before dinner in the Tambu Lounge over at the Poly. My friend Sarah, who had less to drink that afternoon, also has nice memories of our meal at Artist Point, so I'm going to assume that our meal here was every bit as good as I remember it! The food was terrific. It was pretty basic fare, but done really well. I passed on an appetizer, but Sarah ordered the Venison spring rolls and they were delicious. She let me have a bite of one, and I immediately regretted not ordering some myself. Sarah ordered their wild salmon entree which she said was tasty and well prepared. I ordered the roasted chicken breast with potato risotto and it was excellent. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from the dish as it's a pretty standard dish, but I was impressed. The chicken was very moist and flavorful, and the potato risotto was delicious. I also had the hazelnut chocolate torte for dessert. I wasn't too impressed with the torte. It wasn't bad, just a bit too dark and dense for my liking. The Honey Lavender ice cream it came with, however, was wonderful. I wish I could have ordered that on its own. The service here was top notch. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and was fairly knowledgeable about the wine list. We both had the wine flight, and she made a point to discuss each of the selections with us so that the wine for the course was not only suited to the food but to our tastes. She seemed to know just when to check on us and when to let us be. I have nothing but nice things to say about her. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal. We'd definitely go back.

dvcfamily41801 - We really love this restaurant. Our favorite spot is over by the windows. We always request a table in Gary's section as he is a great server and always makes great suggestions for us. Our favorites are Smoky Portabello Soup, Venison Pot Stickers, Cedar Plank Salmon and Braised Buffalo Short Ribs.

OKW Lover - First impressions are of a wonderful room fully in keeping with the overall theming of the Wilderness Lodge. Window tables have a nice view of the WL courtyard. The menu has items you'll not find anywhere else at WDW, or even in your home town. Where else can you find a menu that includes buffalo? venison? Elk? The wine list is extensive and features wines from the pacific northwest. Going with the wine flight is a good way to compliment your menu choices. Non adventurous eaters may be put off by the selections, but if you give them a chance you'll find they are really good. Unfortunately, some of our favorite menu items have been significantly changed (or removed) so our overall rating of this place has slipped.

The Artist Point Restaurant is located in the Wilderness Lodge Resort. This upscale eatery features the cuisine from Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. The focus in on fresh foods with a variety of seafood, steak and game featured.

Warm and inviting, this restaurant draws its inspiration from the dining rooms found at National Park lodges. There are murals, paintings and a stunning view of Silver Creek Falls.

Wine list featuring exclusive wines from Oregon, California and Washington State Resort Casual Dress Policy.
