UConnFan - Oh, the Dole Whip! This is quintessential Disney World and one of the top things I crave about Disney World when I'm not there. Dole Whips can be a bit tart for me, so I like to order the pineapple vanilla swirl. Avoid the seating area near by. It's really smelly.

tehSAC - Dole whip is my favorite treat. I can remember getting them when I was on my family trips long ago. There is nothing like them. I like to sit behind Aloha Isle in the little seating area and watch people pass by. Nothing, I mean NOTHING beats a Dole Whip.

bellebookworm9 - We stopped for a pineapple dole whip float at 5:30pm on 10/10. The line moved pretty quickly. We were disappointed that the tables and chairs were removed from the veranda area, and sat on a stone wall instead. The float was good as always, this is one of our newest traditions that will be around for a while!

dashandapinch - We kept coming back to get more ice cream! It's absolutely the perfect snack for a hot florida day because it's so refreshing, and if you get the float you have cold pineapple juice to wash it down with. There were small lines, but we went during off season. I imagine during the summer the lines could get pretty long, but it's a definite must-do. Especially since you can use your snack credit! Nadjalu - I have only had the dole whip once, will plan on trying it again but I wasn't as impressed as most. We got one to split (thank goodness) and got orange/pineapple float. The first few bites were great, but after that it was a bit overwhelming. Not sure if it was the juice over powering the flavor or what. This is why we will try it again. I recommend getting a small before leaping into the big one.

velocities - If you're tired of all the vanilla, chocolate, and twist soft serves, then Aloha Isle is the perfect place for you. The Pineapple Float is a must whenever I go to Magic Kingdom. However, the pineapple soft serve tastes just as good without the pineapple juice, if not, better. I never tried the Orange and Vanilla swirl yet, but I'm sure it's delicious as well.

Jasper Dale - the dole whip. it's the one treat that you can't get anywhere else. sitting on a bench, enjoying your icy treat as the people pass by, is an experience which you will forever associate with WDW. you can't go back home and have that experience. trust me, months after you return home from WDW, one of the strongest memories you will have will be of that silly little inexpensive treat. whatever secret potion they put into the dole whip will cause you to want to book that next trip and have some more.

PIRATEGIRL007 - It should be illegal that Dole Whips are not available everywhere. I am not a dessert fan, I hate chocolate and can only barely tolerate ice cream. Super sugar-y treats make me sick to my stomach, but I LOVE Dole Whips. They are refreshing and sweet but not over the top. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Also the pineapple spears may be the freshest I have ever had (of course this could be the dole whip talking). We tell everyone that is going to visit MK to stop and try a Dole Whip.

Princess Figment - I had never had a Dole Whip before my last trip to WDW in April '09, but after listening to the Podcast, I had to try one. I admit, I was skeptical. I mean, pineapple ice cream with pineapple juice, how good could it be? Incredible. One of the best things I've ever eaten, EVER. I even looked into purchasing one of those soft serve machines so I could make them at home, because I love them that much. Dole Whips should be a new food group.

Yes, not everyone is going to love it, but for me personally, I can't think of a better treat on property. I also enjoy the seating area next to Aloha Isle, great spot to people watch and cool off for a bit.

Decorated_Dust - I admit it, I had not had a Dole Whip prior to my last trip. I was too chicken to ride Splash Mountain, so I decided to go over and have my first Dole Whip just to see what all the fuss was about. I had the vanilla ice cream on top of the pineapple juice, and I thought it was a fantastic dessert. I have to get one every time I go now. It was funny because when I saw my friends coming down the mountain, they thought I was drinking a beer when they saw me. :) Good times. In short, get a Dole Whip. You will thank me.

It tasted like fake powdered sugar mix with a side of medicine. I threw mine out. Now I have to get inside my bunker before the arrows start flying.

kramer222 - There is something "classic Disney" about stopping at Aloha Isle and having a Dole Whip. But if you listen to the Podcast, then you know these little treats have an added meaning. I'm not sure what kind was Bob's favorite, but mine has always been the Pineapple soft serve. I love to end a day at the Magic Kingdom by picking up a Dole Whip and walking down Main Street. The pineapple floats and root beer floats are also good. Enjoy!

supersuperwendy - There is nothing better then a Dole Float on a sunny day! We grab something yummy here and then sit on the benches near the entrance to The Jungle Cruise. One Dole Float is so sweet I find it's best to share it with my hubby! :)

In addition to the Dole Whips, chocolate and vanilla soft serve ice cream is offered. The pineapple and chocolate flavors can be swirled with vanilla. You can also get pineapple, coke or root beer floats.
