    BFPAWG - This was, hands down, my favorite meal of the week we spent at WDW. We did the dinner buffet with 4 adults, 2 teaans, and 5 kids. The selection was far more varried then I expected. Everyone easily found enough to fill them up. The highlight, however, was the different flavors. There was a wide contrast between dishes. I was especially fond of the soups, in particular the ginger carrott soup (OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!) I really made a spectacular meal before even hitting the entrees. This is a must go back.

    PatchPixie - I LOVE boma!! I was so excited to eat here last trip. We were a table of 15 and there was enough to satisfy every palette including every member of our blended family of vegetarians and omnivores ;) The kids found enough bland food, too. It was rather noisy and the buffet lines could back up quite a bit for the carving station. Our server was charming and we were happy to check out the AKL grounds. We will be back!

    TinkerChelle - All of our experiences at this restaurant have been wonderful. We have dined here for breakfast and dinner. Food is always hot and tasty. Dinner is almost a "must do"for our family. Bobootie (spell) is my favorite offering on this buffet. In fact, I often wish I could have it at home. While there are some more "exotic" dishes offered than in your average buffet, some of the pickiest eaters in our extended family have been able to enjoy their meals here. I mean who (other than vegetarians) don't enjoy a good prime rib! Hummus Hummus and Hummus. Awesome delicious flavors. Soups some savory and some sweet. Black eyed pea and sausage soup is one of our favorites here. I could go on and on about the food. Oddly enough, zebra domes may be the most overrated dessert offering at WDW. In my opinion, average dessert at best. But, nothing beats that HUMMUS!

    linnell - Went to Boma with a friend. We had reservations for three, but it ended up being two of us, no problem. We checked in at 7pm for a 7:20 reservation and were seated at 7:04. Our server was friendly, joked around with us and answered our questions. He explained there are four different menus that rotate, so the one we were eating on Saturday wouldn't be served again until Wednesday. Tried a little bit of everything and loved it all. Two trips up and I was so full, but had to try a zebra cake. That put me over the edge. My friend and I left with very full stomachs, but fully satisfied. I will definitely go back.

    disneydorks - I can only comment on breakfast (give me 14 more days and I will let you know about dinner) Breakfast was very good. They have a juice they serve that is a mixture of multiple juices which is very good. The buffet was plentiful, and had a wide selection from the simplest of tastes to some adventurous selections. Try everything once and you will like it. If you are staying at AKL or are willing to drive over to check out the resort, try it out.

    moneys11 - OK this one is challenging! I waited all week to eat here. I LOVE the whole atmosphere, it was beautiful! I tried very small samples of everything, ( going with the reviews). AND YES it all tasted good. However I don't thing my stomach was used to any of these kinds of food. I had a horrible stomache ache by the time I got back to hotel. Deserts were great. The best part was getting to view the animals roaming after dinner. Kids did not want to leave. This is when my stomache started to bother me or we would have hung out for a while. I will say PLEASE try Boma I would never not recommend it, however I think my stomach was not for it.

    Cokaho - Had a 8:00 ADR, we arrived late and were seated right away. The jungle juice was interesting, but I was glad for the many drink options. There was a great selection of food, from normal breakfast fare to African specialties. Everyone was very satisfied, even my breakfast disliking husband. The table we had was by a window and had a great view of a pond area, it felt like we were really somewhere new. The Restaraunt was busy, but it did not feel crowded and the service was still great. The only con was that it is difficult to get to the resort, and we waited for a long time to leave the resort.

    bellebookworm9 - My mom and I had a 9:50am ADR here for breakfast in May 2010. However, Mom wasn't feeling well that morning so I went alone. I arrived about 15 minutes early and only waited about 3 minutes to be seated. My server was Edna, and while she was friendly, she seemed rushed and distracted. I waited a bit longer than I should have for her to come after I was seated. It also took her nearly 15 minutes after I was done eating for her to bring the check. Then I had to wait for her to process it. Finally, this was the only restaurant that did not acknowledge the birthday celebrations that I saw were noted on the slip they place at the table for the server. The jungle juice was very good. My first trip consisted of: -Fruit Loops -Cinnamon Bun -Banana Macadamia Muffin -Strawberries & Watermelon The fruit loops were good and so was the watermelon. The strawberries were juicy but not very sweet. The cinnamon bun was just okay. They're better at my school, I think. The muffin was tasty but seemed dry. My second trip included: -Goat Cheese and Chive scrambled eggs -Bacon -Sausage -Brioche French Toast The bacon was good. The sausage was a bit too spicy. The toast was very good-I liked the raisins. The eggs were the best thing I ate there. They were perfectly done and the chives added a lot of flavor-normally I hate eggs, so the fact that I loved these says a lot. My third trip was: -Grapes, Cantaloupe, & Watermelon -Chocolate Croissant -Regular Croissant -Blueberry Muffin The grapes were mushy, but the cantaloupe was good. I didn't care for the chocolate croissant. The muffin was good, but the sugar crystals on top were a bit too much. The regular croissant was perfect: light and fluffy. I really wanted to love this restaurant, and I just didn't. I left full, but not really satisfied.

    d_wooden - We ate here for supper on 12/12. Walking into the place you can't help but know that you're in for an adventure. The food was a little different but it seemed to be all good. There were a few things that to this very day I don't know what they were! There was definitely a sweet side to most everything. I was thinking I might be in for a spicy meal but it actually turned out just the opposite. Good taste but sweet on almost everything except the pork and beef. My wife proclaimed the bread pudding 'fantastic'

    Terk-1 - This is a great breakfast buffet. Plenty to choose from and everything was hot and tasty. I love the fact that the fruit that is cut up is cut in larger pieces and everything was fresh. Our server was great. Always kept our glasses full and took our dirty plates away. I would say one of the only downsides is that, without a rental car, it is difficult to get to. Have to take a bus to AK, then take another bus to AKL, but that bus stops at AKLV first.

    mom24kids81 - When making dining reservations for our vacation this restaurant was highly suggested to try and were just so happy that we gave it a try. We were at WDW with our 11yr DD. Our waiter described the dinner buffet offerings to a T. We tried a sampling of all the soups except for the cheese based one, we ALL enjoyed the flavors. As our waiter told us this meal will be fun if we were adventurous and it was!! We all tried new dishes, some were spicy but not that 'hot' so not to enjoy it. We were stuffed when dessert time came, but small sizes made it easy for us to share and get little tastes of everything. Our DD really enjoyed the bread pudding(?), we all found the Zebra Domes quite rich and not for us. This was our first time here, these boards helped me when planning for our trip so I hope that my review helps in your choice. The food was fresh and tasty and if you like trying new foods then we highly recommend Boma!!!

    Nadjalu - Boma...I will start with the positves. The food was hot and always full. Now onto the bad (well for us the bad, for people who like sweet in everything you'll be ok). DH and I went to Boma with the expectation of loving it. Both of us love spicey (we learned this word doesn't always mean hot peppery). The restaurant is nice, well decorated. We felt very much submerged in African culture. This restaurant uses spices such as cinnamon, vanilla and fruit flavors in everything. I do mean everything. The carving meats (beef) and chicken were rubbed in cinnamon. All side dishes had a sweet flavor. Not fun to have potatoes taste sweet, not to mention your greens. Even the soups were all sweet. By the time we got to dessert we didn't want any. Needless to say we left not satisfied and we had CS an hour later. The food wasn't bad just not for us. So warning...spicey doesn't mean "mexican" spicey. It could mean holiday dessert for dinner. ;)

    2wdwfans - We visited WDW in the first week of March 2001 and was on the Deluxe Dining Plan so the price mentioned was if we were not on the dining plan. This was our second eating here and everytime we have greatly enjoyed the dinner. The food is unique and every tasty. I love mangos and I totally love their Mango Vinaigrette salad dressing!!!!!! The staff is friendly and the servers are eager to explain the food if you don't know what it is.

    medicjch - The food was excellent (our second time eating here). We were really craving the corn chowder and unfortunately it was not on the buffet that night, but we made up for it in other areas. I would say that this meal was at least as good, if not better, than our first visit. I did note the chefs assisting several families with food choices........due to allergies or whatever. Always nice to see how well Disney accomodates those issues.

    canter2u - This is our absolute favorite place to eat, hands down. We ended up here by accident when we were at Hollywood studios and we could not get in a t any restaurant even with the help of a cast member at the customer relations desk...anywhere. She finally said she could get us in a t Boma, would we mind taking a bus to a resort? Very hungry we agreed. I am so glad we did! The music and theme-ing puts you a world apart, and to say the buffet is extensive is an understatement. There are a variety of meats, vegetables, breads, grains, fruits and everything has just a touch of exotic flavor...all different but not overboard. I'll never forget when someone wrote "all Americans could certainly have their palates challenged" and Boma does in a very enlightening way. More desserts than imaginable. You won't regret it and will be a permanent fan!

    goodfood4ursoul - Yes, we had heard a lot about Boma in advance, but the descriptions of dishes are sort of flat if you have never tried some of ingredients in these dishes before. You will get the chance to try things you have read about but perhaps are not available at home, like tabbouleh (Mmmm!) I am not vegetarian, but like vegetarian dishes, and at Boma there is something for everyone. The buffet features soups(like peanut soup, gumbo, barley), salads, main dishes, sides, desserts, and you will find comfort food(baked chicken, mac & cheese) as well as unique combinations that refresh your palate (like avacado, papaya and grapefruit salad- YUM!) If you enjoy trying new things you will enjoy this. I did not find that "all the food tasted like cinnamon," as some have reported. The evening that we dined, we were seated on time and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. I find the dessert options to have a wide range as well, from the much touted Zebra Domes (good, but extremely rich) to the mango mousse, mini key lime tarts, etc. Bite size portion desserts are fun, so save room!

    Grace4me - Good choice!!! Good food, great servers. The Mango juice they give you to try is really good. And I tried many of the more "african" choices - they were good as well. Don't be scared of them, very tasty. Loved the pastry options and the omlette station. My fav was the scrambled eggs with goat cheese and chives. Doesn't sound great, but really was very tasty. Coffee was strong! :) loved it~ great way to start a day! And go see the Savannah without the price of the park.

    JennsAStar - this continues to be a family fave of mine! i have introduced this restaurant to many picker eaters in my family and all have LOVED IT! some may find it noisy but the description describes is as an "african marketplace" DUH, its going to be noisy, but thats why i loved it. the wait staff was really great in recommending foods and drinks to go with our meals. the chefs are very awesome and will talk to you as you get your food, this is not a standard buffet, its a gourmet meal. i go here everytime i go to disney world!!!!

    wdwfan317 - WOW! We ate here in September 2009 for breakfast and we had the latest table seating possible (10:45). We had ADR's and only had to wait maybe 4-5 min for a table. My 7 and 2 year olds ate well. My husband is pretty picky and he was in HEAVEN. the selection on the buffet is unbeatable. at one end of the buffet, you have a wide array of pastries and breads with huge asst. jams and spreads), fresh and plentiful variety of fruits, yogurt, granola; hot and cold cereals, african style casserole dishes(one was called bobotie- you have to try this!!!)- hard to describe, but excellent- kind of spicy, cinnamon-raisin french toast, mickey waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, buttermilk biscuits with gravy, and my favorite part?? an open fire pit with rotating hams and turkeys on spits. so there was freshly carved JUICY, flavorful ham and turkey with assorted sauces- i can't wait to go back for more. We didn't eat again that day. We finished eating around 12:00. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server was A DOLL. we loved her. it was BAR NONE the best meal we had while there and we ate at several of the more popular restaurants- chef mickey's, The Crystal Palace, Donald's safari Breakfast, 50's Prime Time Cafe, the Garden Grill, and The Sci Fi dine in. BOMA was OUR FAVORITE! I have heard that the dinner buffet is pretty awesome, but from people who have had both, they say that the breakfast is better. OH! and my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at JIKO at the Animal kingdom lodge and we both wished we'd eaten at Boma. the service at Jiko was so-so. they didn't even acknowledge our anniversary. the food was just okay, and we still forked out $50 for an appetizer we shared,($16) a glass of wine($10), and gratuity. ridiculous.

    meganamess - This was our second time eating at Boma, and if you are going to make an ADR, try to make it before 6pm. We found the dining room to be less crowded with a 5:40pm reservation. The food has exotic African undertones, but is all "normal" food. The Butternut Squash soup tastes like Thanksgiving. There are several selections for soups, salads, meats, vegetables, and starches. Even the pickiest eater can find something delicious. Dessert was wonderful also. The Zebra Domes are always good, and so were the peanut butter petit fours.

    toobusyimagining - This was my family's first Disney ADR breakfast for our vacation, and I had high expectations for it. However, I was disappointed; to me, it was just an ordinary breakfast buffet. It was good, don't get me wrong, but there just wasn't anything special to it that showed me the "Disney Difference". The omelets were delicious, but other than that, the food was just okay. They didn't have any mickey waffles (which I LOVE), just ordinary waffles, and the pancakes were very tiny and weren't anything to write home about. The atmosphere was just okay; the Boma's theming is very nice, but dry compared to the rest of the hotel. It was a decent meal, but I don't think I would ever return here.

    sbprincess - My husband and I ate breakfast here on May 11, 2010. We were seated right away and our waitress took our drink orders. We ordered coffee for both, my husband ordered orange juice and the waitress practically insisted I also get the special mixed juice they serve - and I was glad she did! Very tasty! The coffee was a little strong for me but DH liked it very much. The buffet had almost any breakfast item you could want! I had banana bread, a sticky bun, petite bran muffin, bacon and a scone. All were very good but the scone was a little dry. The goat cheese scrambled eggs were fabulous! I tried a pancake, small waffle quarter, and french toast. The pancake was nothing special nor was the waffle. I didn't care for the french toast at all - too many raisins too. My DH and I then split an omlette of eggs, cheese, and sausage and it was great. This was the only table service breakfast we did all trip and I would definitely repeat next time.

    vadisneyfam - I was looking forward to eating at Boma more than any other reservation we had. I read a lot about how great it is and that it's one of the best restaurants at Disney. I have to say I was a bit disappointed because I didn't think it totally lived up to the hype. The food was definitely good and much different than anything we had on other buffets, but I would have liked to have seen more variety. I also thought I was going to get to try some really different things I had never tried before, but I didn't think the options strayed too far from typical American tastes. If you like American fare with a slight ethnic flare, you'll like this, but don't expect anything too adventurous. The soups and desserts are the highlight of the buffet, and my husband thought the beef loin was delicious.

    chum - Even with a reservation we waited 45min. Walk-ups were being seated before our party of 5. The more popular the restaurant the less organized they seem to be. That said, we enjoyed the location with the animals out back and the bar just above Boma to help with the wait. Food was good and I did enjoy some items I would not usually order like the carrot soup. Our server seemed tired but helped us with a gluten allergy and then brought a beautiful gluten free dessert plate. It's hard to accept the long wait but dinner was worth it.

    Lisacope - We ate here on Feb 18, 2010. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated within a few minutes. This is THE best buffet at WDW with many wonderful choices of food. True, the lines can pile up but they move quickly and you can jump in at several points. My personal favorite of the meats is the braised pork. The chicken and salmon are also excellent but the carved beef (new york strip?) is only so-so. The soups are excellent as are the desserts including the famous zebra domes. This is not a fine dining experience as it can be a bit noisy but the food is first-rate and they do a wonderful job (of couse) catering to families.

    Pignanny - If you come to Walt Disney World and do not eat here you have done yourself a tremendous injustice. Service, atmosphere, food and amount of choices are amazing. If you have something you would like cooked a bit longer or modified speak to one of the chefs, they are more than accomodating. Make sure you make a reservation well in advance as it is not likely you can walk up and get seated. That said with a reservation the seating is very efficient (generally within 10 minutes after you arrive). If Boma is not the best restaurant on WDW property it is definetly in the 3. One other note, when you find something you just love, if you want the recipe just ask the chef. If they do not have it handy they will gladly email it to you.

    Muffin4u - I was really looking forward to trying Boma based on reviews I have read. Boy was I disappointed! We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time and were seated pretty quickly. Based on the number of people waiting, I assumed the restaurant was full. When we walked into the dining room, it was almost empty. I don't understand why they had all those people waiting when there were obviously more than enough tables open. Our waiter came quickly and was very polite. He took our drink orders and we made our way to the long line of people waiting to get to the buffet. This buffet was not laid out properly or with any thought regarding waiting times. It is one long buffet and the layout makes long lines almost unavoidable even when the restaurant is nearly empty. We finally got our food and were disappointed in the lack of flavor in the meats. Not all the food was bad but I would have to say more of it was bad than good. I did enjoy the peanut rice. They do have a good selection of desserts and we enjoyed those. I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee(which is included in the buffet price) after our meal. I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere and decor were nice, too bad the food wasn't as good.

There were four different soups, about eight different kinds of salads, and then numerous side dishes and about five protein choices. We like our prime rib cooked medium and they serve it med rare. The chef put it on the grill to cook it a little longer for us. It was great and really added the wood fire smokey taste. When you think it can't get better, it's time for dessert.     oldtink - We have a 21 year old son that we call "the human Hoover." He was full when we left this place!!!! There are just soooo many foods to choose from that it was hard to put the stops on! The cook staff behind the counters were chatty and asked us where we were from. One chef even sent something to our table for the birthday boy and the newly engaged couple. This has to be one of the most wonderful experiences in our seven-day stay.

    luna99 - This is my husband's favorite restaurant in WDW and he makes me promise we will eat here at least once on every trip. Both he and I enjoy trying new foods and flavors and the buffet here allows us to do that! This is not a good place for picky eaters and most of the food is stuff you have never heard of (and maybe cannot pronounce!). The stars of the buffet here are the soups, meats, and desserts! You really should try this place at least once though, very, very good food and unique flavors! You will not find a restaurant like this anywhere else but at disneyworld!

    DSNY4ever - We love Boma and we have breakfast here every trip...sometimes twice a trip. I love the Bobotie dish and the Sausage/biscuit skillet dish- yum, yum! The carved meats station is also really good, but I also love that they have the usual- french toast, bacon, eggs, omelette station, fruit, cereal etc. I also love the special juice that you can get in the mornings. At certain times you can step outside after you eat and see the animal keepers feeding the animals their breakfast too, and they will answer questions about what the animals eat and how they care for them etc. It is a nice way to relax after stuffing your stomach here! That is always my biggest regret, that I can't fit more in my stomach! And yes they have plenty of traditional breakfast items for those in your group that don't want to try "new" foods.

We have a hard time getting a table (when its just the 2 of us), but it is worth the fight. The bread pudding is my husband favorite thing in all of WDW. Any semi-adventurous eater should be happy here.

It is also nice not to have the standard buffet fare, but something unique to choose from. Our daughter's favorite dessert is the zebra domes.

    bsusanmb - We had dined here many times. Last visit May 2009. Food great, lots of choices, spicey to bland, and kids food. Love the soups, Muligatawny or however you spell it, is my favorite. It is delicious. The different salads are great, and very different. The hummus is also great. Desserts are all tasty, as is the fresh fruit. Pineapple is so sweet. It is noisy and crowded, but that's because it is so good. The price is great, and the service is excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    thekylers - I only chose this restaurant for an excuse to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I was a little hesitant to try Boma, as I do not like a lot of spice in my food. I loved it!! I went back for seconds on a soup, which I can not remember the name, but it had sausage and lentils, I don't like sausage!! The deserts were to die for. I had a little of everyone and can't say there wasn't one that I didn't like. They even have some American choices for the picky eaters or children.

    msc_idiot - The food is wonderful here. We have been for breakfast and dinner, but prefer the breakfast. The staff is wonderful and the setting is beautiful and very relaxing. It is one place that we return to repeatedly during a trip.

    pperfectmom - As with many WDW restaurants, this one is super crowded and loud most of the time. The food choices are great(if you can manage to get to them). I really liked the flatbread and dip choices and could have filled up on that and dessert. The zebra domes are great and the bread pudding was wonderful. We also enjoyed the African wine flights that you can get with the meal. Unfortunately, on our visit there our server was horrible. She was not from Africa, nor did she have any knowledge of the food or wine. She seemed to be having as hard of a time navigating the crowd as we did.

    uncleleo - I can't wait to go back. I liked almost everything I tried at dinner. I really like spicy foods, but I would not call anything I ate at Boma "hot." So I wouldn't want anyone with a preference for mild flavors to think they won't have enough to choose from at Boma. Oddly what I remember best were some very mild, but flavorful, side dishes: pap, a kind of corn meal; fufu, a mix of potatoes, yams, and maybe some other tubers; and some really delicious peanut-flavored rice. Leave plenty of room for dessert. Most people make a big deal about the zebra domes, and they're great, but there's lots more to try. The waiting area feels very cramped. Fortunately, they give you a buzzer and you can walk around the pool outside while you wait for a table.

    raftislander - This was a highlight meal of our Spring 2009 trip - even my usually picky, nonadventurous DD(15) loved the food here. The soups are incredible. Try the carrot ginger, chicken corn chowder and spicy curry seafood. All delicious. The cold salads also offer many unusual tastes. There was a Melon, Avacado & Grapefruit salad that I could not stop eating. These salads are put out in relatively small batches and kept fresh and restocked by the hardworking crews behind the tables. Hot side dishes also were very good. Sometimes unusually named dishes would turn out to be familiar tastes like sweet potatoes. There was a very good green bean dish with a curry peanut sauce. Meats were good, but I eaten too much by the time I got to that area to do much more than taste. Be sure to try a Zebra Dome for dessert. The restaurant is noisy, but it is a convivial noise, not a racket. The sound of lots of people having a good time.

    Daycounter - I really liked this buffet. I was able to try things that I usually wouldn't have access to. I'm not sure how much kids would like this buffet (they do have a kids section, but if they want something other than pizza/chicken tenders, they may not find much on the adult buffet). I think everyone should try this buffet at least once.

    Mickey_Man - We love Boma - is has become a must do and our favorite buffet. I don't find the flavors to be over the top different - everything is worth trying. My biggest personal complaint might be that the buffet doesn't flow very well as far as traffic, so it can feel excessively crowded.

    lady danger - (Review for mid-August of '07) Great restaurant! For a buffet, the food was excellent. Everything was hot and tasty, and the buffet line is set up pretty well. Even though the restaurant was packed, we didn't spend too much time in line. The selection of food was great too. I'm a moderately picky eater, so I was somewhat concerned about whether or not the only things I could find to eat would be items from the "kiddie" area, but that wasn't the case. There is a good blend of the exotic and the familiar to where I think most people could find stuff to suit their tastes. And the good thing about a buffet is that you can sample foods that you're unsure of, and if you end up hating them it isn't a big deal. And if you end up loving them, you can get more! My only complaints about this restaurant had to do with the crowds. The restaurant and waiting area were packed. We showed up for an ADR 5 minutes early and were given a buzzer. It didn't go off for about 30-40 minutes. Sad It wasn't an enormous deal as we enjoyed looking around the resort, but the delayed seating meant that by the time we finished, we had no chance of heading back to the Magic Kingdom to catch SpectroMagic at 9pm as we had hoped. We weren't too disappointed though, so I don't regret the decision to dine here that night!

    msteddom - I ate here a few years ago, and don't feel the need to go back. Everything was good, but not outstanding. I tried a little bit of everything, but I didn't find myself going back for seconds on anything. I guess I'm just not that into African flavors because it just didn't click with me.

    peacefrogdog - Have gone here for both breakfast and supper. Supper was amazing! There are a lot of different options, and if you like your meet you'll be in heaven here. I like lots of seasoning and spices in my food, so I loved the way they prepared their food. My mother-in-law (who at most adds salt and pepper to her food) found the tastes a bit strong. Breakfast was not much more than what you can find in most other breakfast buffets. However, the coffee you can get in the press pot was amazing! Especially considering how hard it is to get good coffee in Disney World!

    NWOhioAngela - Boma is a great (but safe) way to try out new foods. We enjoyed the Curried Coconut Seafood Stew and the babooti, but it was nice to know there was pretty neutral American food on the buffet as well in case we didn't find anything we liked. There is a good selection of salads and entrees, and really something for everyone, including the legendary zebra domes for dessert. One word of caution: It can get really loud there. This is not the place for a quiet romantic dinner, but it is a good place for a family to try something new--something you won't necessarily find at home.

    mmmears - We love this place. Service: Our waitress was very attentive, always refilling our water, taking away dirty dishes, and checking on us to make sure we were happy. Setting: I think this is a very pretty place for dinner. Plus, the "pod" layout of the buffet is great, since you're not waiting in a huge line just to get to the course you're looking for. It was great to be able to just go for the salads, the kids plates, or the desserts. Food: We love the food here. It's by far the most varied and interesting cuisine at any Disney buffet. We have really enjoyed our dinners here.

    GrumpyFan - We've been here on two different occasions and never found it that great. It wasn't bad, but we just didn't find anything special in the taste of the food. The food was all very unique, but there didn't seem to be anything in particular that just jumped out at us and made us want to come back again.

    xipetotec - Went here on two occasions. Dinner and Breakfast. Both were excellent. Dinner: Dw is allergic to zuccini, so a chef from the kitchen came out and showed her dish by dish what she could and could not eat. variety was huge with things that delve largely into african spices and fusion to some things that are more general for the less adventurous. look at that dessert table! ( and don't forget the Zebra Domes ). Breakfast: Our server was AMAZING, super friendly, super helpful and playful with the kids ( I think his name was Albert ). Brought us pitchers of juice for the table ahead of time. And again, variety of food at the buffet was outstanding!

    OKW Lover - Great place if you are looking for something beyond the usual buffet foods. There are lots of different things to try here and since its a buffet if you find you don't like something new, just go back for something else. Picky eaters should not shy away from this place - they do indeed have the "safe" choices. Same for those with children, there is the traditional children's choices like mac n cheese, chicken fingers/nuggets, pizza, etc. The layout can get congested at times as some people pile up waiting for the carving station, or the desert station. Also, the room is often noisy, but I guess that's to be expected. Don't forget to leave time for a walk around the resort afterwards, there's a lot to see.


Boma - Flavors of Africa is one of the more unique dining experiences found in Walt Disney World, where the spirit of Africa comes alive.It is an open and natural space surrounded by a kraal-style fence made of sticks. This Boma provides a safe and sheltered area in the bush. In the evening, its golden light pours out as the fire used for cooking lights the dinner table.
