    kim532 - We paid about $160 for 4 adults and 2 children for the dinner buffet. The buffet choices were tasty, but not as many options as I would have liked. They brought out warm bread and it was very good. Desserts were awesome. They finished off the meal and ended on a great note. Definitely stop by when you are tired of all the grab and go quick meals, but still want to eat in a reasonable time frame.

    Dizbo - It was great to start my day with fresh fruit, egg whites and the best smoke salmon I've ever eaten. My only complaint was that it was character dinning was with some obscure characters. I still don't know whether I ate with the Country bears, the bears from brother bear or the bearnstein bears.

    marciemouse - This was our third visit to Storyteller's Cafe, however it was our first time going for lunch. (previous visits were for dinner) We had no reservations but were seated immediately. Husband ordered the spaghetti. He has had this in the past and really enjoys it. Lots of fresh herb flavor. The portion was considerably larger than our last visit. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fruit. The meat was cooked well. The onions were more sauteed than caramelized but still good. The side of fruit was very fresh and yummy. Service was good. Refills were consistent. Got a 10% discount with our annual pass. We'll return here again in the future, as we feel it is good quality food at fair prices in a nice atmosphere. Give it a try!

    marciemouse - Decided to have dinner here the Thursday night before Memorial Day. We were seated immediately even though we had no Priority Seating reservation. It was me, my husband, and our 2 year old daughter. Husband had the spaghetti, which he really, really enjoyed. At $15.99, we thought it was a good value. I opted for the dinner buffet. At $27, it was more than I'd normally pay. However, it included a beverage, and our daughter was allowed to eat off my plate. Had I ordered an entree, drink and kids meal, the price would have been about the same. The buffet was mostly quite good. The pork loin was ridiculously good, and I really enjoyed the corn chowder, as did my daughter. The Caesar salad, tortellini, and desserts were good, too. The mac and cheese was GROSS, and the asparagus was woody. But overall, the food was quite good. Service was good. Enjoyed the atmosphere. For us, it was a nice value and a good quality meal.

    disneyfanbecky - Love the food here! Breakfast has character breakfast which is a lot of fun and has activities for the kids. Dinner is delicious and very cozy but can get noisy.

    tholczer - We were very excited to go to Storyteller's as I'd read good reviews. It was a cool evening and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting with a fire going in the fireplace. Unfortunately, the buffet left much to be desired. There is not much selection, which we could see when we first walked in, but decided to stay based on what I'd heard. The pork and beef were both very dry and flavorless, and the salmon was not much better. The clam chowder was congealed and also not very flavorful. I didn't try the tortellini. The salad was very plain and the dressing left much to be desired. There also wasn't much to choose from on the dessert side. We had to track our waitress down several times for ketchup, an extra napkin, more water, that sort of thing. All in all, a very disappointing meal experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. We won't go back.

    stampinshauna - We enjoy dining at Storyteller's for both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has a character meal, and while it does not have the variety of food or characters that Goofy's Kitchen has, I find the food quality much better. The dinner buffet is our favorite. The food is great and the atmosphere is nice. I enjoy the music and the decor of the restaurant. The dinner buffet price is reasonable--similar to what you'd pay for an entree, drink, and dessert, so we find it worth it. We tried the corn chowder the first time we ate there because our server recommended it and I'm glad she did. It is wonderful, and it isn't something I would have just tried on my own. They have good fresh salads, fruit, meat on the carving board, potatoes, pasta, yummy mac & cheese, desserts, and more that I can't think of. We make this a must do each trip.

    Sherry E - Storytellers Cafe has a very earthy, welcoming, cozy atmosphere, and the fireplace beckons hungry guests to come in and get warm with a hot meal on cold nights. I am not addressing the character meal breakfast at Storytellers Cafe in this review because I will tackle that in the separate Character Meal review section, but as a regular, non-character meal restaurant, I think Storytellers is a nice place to eat. During one lunch, I ordered a regular hamburger and my friends ordered a veggie burger and a thick turkey and bacon sandwich. Everyone was satisfied with their food and the prices were adequate and commensurate with portion size. The desserts looked tempting but none of us had any room left to attempt anything sweet. Now when my friend and I went back in December for a Wintertime dinner, we found very little to our liking - either because the prices were just too high for what was being offered, or the selections were just not appealing to us. Storytellers sometimes has a dinner buffet (during busy times of year or holidays), but the options in the buffet did not warrant the price for me. The other menu choices involved seafood or expensive steaks. Others may feel differently and prefer those meals but we wanted something simple - like what was on the lunch menu. We settled on the spaghetti because it seemed like the best deal price-wise (about $17 or $18) for what it was, compared to everything else. When it arrived, I instantly noticed that the plate was oversized but the portion of spaghetti was smaller than expected. However, it was, by far, one of the tastiest spaghetti dishes I have had in a while - and I LOVE a good plate of spaghetti. The sauce was meaty and full of garlic and fresh herbs. There was one small piece of garlic bread that came with the pasta and that was also excellent in flavor. I almost asked the waiter if he would bring more garlic bread to the table. So $17 - $18 is a bit costly for some spaghetti and a small piece of delicious garlic bread (especially when I could make all of that for under $10 at home), but it seemed to be the most reasonably priced menu item for us, and it was pretty darn good. Overall, I think lunch at Storytellers Cafe is a better value than dinner because the lunch items seem to cheaper and the prices are more fitting for what you get, but whichever you choose, you should enjoy the nice ambience of the restaurant and the tasty food.


The Storytellers Cafe serves an all you can eat buffet style Character breakfast with Chip & Dale and Pluto. Lunch and Dinner offer wood-fired pizza, seafood, sandwiches and salads. Priority Seating request suggested. An A la Carte menu is also available.
