Disney's Wilderness Lodge Rooms
Disney's
Wilderness Lodge offers different kinds of accommodations
to suit different tastes and needs. There are regular guest rooms,
Junior Suites, Honeymoon Rooms, the Yosemite Suite (Vice-Presidential)
and the Yellowstone Suite (Presidential).
Most of the 728 guest rooms are 340 square feet in size and have 2 queen size beds (or one king-sized bed), writing table with 3 chairs, armoire, television, wall mirror, telephone, nightstand, small key-operated safe, 2 luggage racks, floor lamp, hair dryer, clock radio and a Disney magazine.
There
are 2 sinks with a mirror in a vanity area separate from
the tub and commode. Guests
who need to connect to home or work via the Internet while
vacationing, will find high speed access.
There are some rooms available with a king-sized bed. These may be handicapped accessible with a wheelchair-accessible
shower in place of a tub. Some of the rooms may also have a mini-bar as well. There are also rooms available with a set of bunk
beds and a queen-sized bed.
Junior suites are another alternative available here. These suites
have 2 rooms, a sitting room and a large bedroom. The bedrooms may have 2 queen size beds or one king-sized
bed. The sofa
in the living room is a sleeper sofa. Also found in the suite is a television, wet bar,
small fridge, table with 2 chairs, coffee maker, hair dryer,
iron and ironing board. Junior suites are approximately 500 square feet.
Available upon request are bed boards, bed rails and cribs
(the pak-n-play
variety) call Housekeeping. There are no roll-away
beds offered here. If there are more than 2 adults in the
same room, there is an additional charge of $25 per person, per night.
The following are available by calling Housekeeping: irons and ironing boards, coffee makers (coffee is
available for a fee), hand lotion, extra pillows, blankets
and towels, and
International Electrical Adapters.
There are 4 choices of view for your rooms as well:
Standard view - parking lot, limited woods or driveway
Woods view - overlooking the natural forest area surrounding
the resort
Lodge view - of the newest Disney Vacation Club property
next door, the Wilderness Lodge Villas
Courtyard view - that overlooks the Silver Creek courtyard,
pool or Bay Lake
Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. Guests may check in as early as 8 a.m. and if the
room is not ready, store your bags with Bell Services and
head for the theme parks.
