- Overall Impression: I really love the look and feel of Disney's Riviera Resort. It's very intimate and cozy which is what I think of when I imagine hotels in the French and Italian Riviera. Additionally, the creative artwork, especially the personal photos of Walt and Lillian Disney during their travels, made the Resort feel it was an extension of his home where family vacation photos would be hung on the wall. The one-bedroom villa I stayed in felt like home. Everything I needed was right here and easily accessible. I love walking through the halls and seeing images of different Disney Princess Castles and even some of the princesses themselves. The cast member interactions I had was the cherry on top of a beautiful stay!

- Overall Impression: Lovely, but we are very happy with all the DVC resorts. We did the Rise of the Resistance, it was great, the wait(s) were tough, but we expected them. Crowds were excessive pretty much since Starwars land opened. It’s probably gonna get worse with all the new rides coming on line.

- Overall Impression: We booked 2 days here just to check it out, but I think we would have enjoyed our stay more than we expected, even without the upgrade. By the way, we met another family who had been "upgraded" to a Riviera 2- bedroom from Pop Century, so we think they may be doing upgrades as a way to "introduce" the resort to more guests. Go soon!

- Overall Impression: The resort was beautiful and the gondola can't be beat, but the views are not great and too close to CBR. We did take a tour of other room categories, the tower studios are bigger than I expected. We had 20 people in the room taking a look around at once. Not sure that I would want to stay there for a week, we normally stay in a 1 bedroom. The 3 bedroom was nice, but I liked the 3 bedroom layout of other resorts better, such as GF and BLT.

- Overall Impression: Just an absolutely beautiful resort. Immerses you in a posh yet casual European ambience from the moment you enter the resort. The rooms are spacious, and the Skyliner transportation is a huge plus. An addition of room service and some tweaks to the quick service would make the dining options perfect. Also, don’t be nervous about reserving a Standard view room. The classifications are quite confusing. Standard gives you fireworks views, where Preferred gives you a pool and CBR view. Overall, and amazing place to stay!

- Overall Impression: Ok so disclaimer: I paid for a Tower studio, there was an issue with the back of the couch falling off the Murphy bed. I reported it in the lobby and asked for it to be fixed. 5 minutes later the cast member I talked to in the lobby came to the room and informed me I was being moved. Maintenance arrived while she was there so they were efficient. I was expecting another tower studio but was upgraded to a two bedroom villa. I’ve tried to account for that in my review, but I wanted to be honest about what happened. I walked into the Riviera expecting to be underwhelmed and the lobby met the expectation but the cast was excellent so that helped bring that experience up. The food was very good across the board and that’s very important to me. While the Riviera is decor is not my preferred style (I’m more of a Polynesian/Wilderness Lodge sort), I ended up being very impressed by it. It works together very well and I like the simple stated elegance of it. The pool is nice and the slide is fun but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of depth in the pool. Location location location, while being a stones throw from Caribbean Beach is a bit off putting it’s hard to argue that sitting between Epcot and Hollywood Studios isn’t phenomenal. This hotel is unexpectedly among my favorites of the hotels I have stayed at this far.

When they bolt onto an existing successful result - Poly, Grand, Contemp, Boardwalk, Beach, Animal Kingdom - they can deliver a strong Disney experience. But when they attempt a greenfield project - Saratoga, Key West and now Riviera- there is just something unmagical about them.
Here's a question: Do you think Disney is kicking itself for selling off all that prime real estate to Four Seasons?
Can you imagine how much different the Riviera experience would be if it sat in the lush and remote grounds that the Four Seasons sits, versus being shoehorned between a moderate resort and a busy street?

- Overall Impression: We bought into this resort and glad we did. It is between 2 parks and the skyliner gets your to either quickly. Mk was 15 minutes by bus. We had a split stay, studio, 2 bedroom and 3 brgv. Ak the rooms were fantastic. We have stayed in a few other DVC resorta, AK is our first home resort and we like the contrast between the two. The RR is a nice adult DVC resort which also being kid friendly. The food options are as good as any and better than some. We are looking forward to staying here babe times in the upcoming years

It was so special to sit on the patio, listen to the music and just watch other guests walking by and doing the same. Finally the tile muriels on the way to the Skyliner were beautiful. Great touch.

- Overall Impression: We were underwhelmed with the food at Topolino’s character breakfast. Not worth the cost. We really enjoyed the food from Primo Piatto/Bar Riva, and the offerings at La Petit Cafe as well (though I wish they had decaf options for their lattes).

- Overall Impression: One of our home resorts for DVC. We love the setting and the CM are always amazing there.

- Overall Impression: We had a terrible stay at the Riviera. We learned that my husband had Covid on our first day. We had just spent 5 days at Saratoga Springs. They didn’t have Covid tests available anywhere on property. I will not go back to WDW for a long time.
