In April, as Pixar Fest began and Paint the Night took over the parade route in Disney California Adventure, Paradise Bay went dark and World of Color went on hiatus. Meanwhile, construction continued on Pixar Pier.
Rumors were strong that the popular nighttime spectacular would be returning in time for the opening of Pixar Pier, but today park hours for June 22nd were released confirming the return of World of Color.
While hours beyond June 22nd have not been released, for that day Paint the Night will be performed at 8:50pm and World of Color will be presented at 10:15pm.
Tom is the host and producer of the DIS Unplugged: Disneyland Edition podcast, plus Disneyland Editor of The DIS. He enjoys traveling with his wife and teenage son. At this point, their favorite destination is Alaska, with a FIFTH cruise there planned for the Summer of 2019.
