Epcot's park entrance is currently the "guinea pig" for a new ticket-scanning system being tested at
Walt Disney World. With this system, guests do not have to insert their ticket into a machine; turnstiles have also been eliminated. Disney is looking at this as a way to make park entry easier for guests, particularly guests utilizing strollers or wheelchairs.
