Depp to appear in another Pirate movie

Disney announced that Johnny Depp will star in another "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequel. The Pirates franchise has generated box office revenue exceeding 2.6 billion dollars since it first hit the screens in 2003.

Depp will also be featured as "Tonto" in a new "Lone Ranger" feature film being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

The Walt Disney Company confirmed Depp appearing as the "Mad Hatter" in Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland." The two have collaborated on a number of movies since "Edward Scissorhands" including the popular remake of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."

The dates for the movie premieres have not been determined.
