Disney/Pixar's "Up" to open film festival

This years Cannes film festival will open with a special screening of the new Disney/Pixar film "Up" on May 13th.

"Up" is a story about an old man who ties balloons to his house to fly away and escape his problems.

This marks the first time in the festivals history that an animated 3D film will open the festival. The movie will be in general release in the United States on May 29th.
