 From www.wdwinfo.com Disneyland premieres first Halloween fireworks show The Disneyland resort debuted a new Halloween-themed fireworks spectacular on Friday. "Halloween Screams - A Villainous Surprise in the Skies" is Disneyland's first Halloween fireworks show. The show, which is based on Disney villains and their music, is only 13-minutes long, but crowds began marking their spots for the show four hours early. Above Sleeping Beauty Castle, a 20-foot ball rises and plays host to a variety of projected images. One of these images is the evening's host, an animated Jack Skellington from the "Nightmare Before Christmas" movie. Zero, the ghost dog from the same movie, flies across the sky. Another favorite touch are the 40 foot pillars of flame shooting into the sky. The whole show is set to a soundtrack of popular "villain music", like Cruella De Vil's theme song. |
