Fantasmic! picnic packages now available

For two weeks this holiday season, guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios will have the option of enjoying a picnic meal along with reserved seating for the nighttime "Fantasmic!" show. The new "A Taste of Hollywood To Go - A Fantasmic! Dining Experience" offers guests a way to eat on the go, while still having a reserved seat for the popular show. This is the first offering like this at Walt Disney World, but Disneyland has had a picnic lunch/reserved viewing package since their water and light show, "World of Color", started last year.

There are several different meal choices, from fried chicken and spinach salad to poached salmon and couscous salad. There are children's meals available as well. Meals must be orders ahead of time and can be picked up at Min & Bill's Dockside Diner anytime from 11:00 am to one and a half hours before your scheduled show time. The reserved viewing for the performance is first come, first served. The picnics are only being offered December 18 through 31; reservations start December 1 by calling 407-WDW-DINE and a credit card guarantee is required. The picnic lunches count as a quick service credit on the Disney Dining Plan.
