Universal's Simpsons attraction gets top vote

Universal Studios Orlando's recently opened "Simpsons Ride" has been voted as the Best New Theme Park Attraction 2008" by Theme Park Insider.

The Simpsons attraction features the voice talents of the original cast. Guests on the ride are taken through Krustyland which has been hijacked by Sideshow Bob. A top feature of the attraction is an animated "corkscrew" which sends visitors on a virtual twisting and turning trip through Springfield.

President of Universal Creative, Mark Woodbury, stated "The Simpsons Ride represents what Universal does best -- which is to take pop culture's blockbuster entertainment concepts and bring them to life in wildly entertaining theme park experiences.
