Orlando getting Giant Wheel

A Singapore company is expected to announce the construction of a Giant Wheel at Orlando's International Drive.

The structure resembles a ferris wheel and will be 500 feet high. The Giant Wheel will have glass encased capsules which will be capable of holding 40 guests in each unit.

The "London Eye" a similar wheel, attracts over 3.5 million British tourists annually. These wheels are also located in Dubai, Beijing, Berlin and Singapore.

Local contractors are anticipated to construct the wheel.
