Traffic to Travel Web Sites drops

According to comScore.Inc - a company that tracks traffic and usage trends on the internet - traffic to travel related web sites and portals was down 14% in October over the same period last year.

Expedia saw a drop of nearly 25% in its web traffic, while Travelocity dropped by 16% and Orbitz by 23%. The report also shows that traffic to most major airline websites was also down for the period.
