An employee at Wet 'n Wild, Universal Orlando's water park, is in critical condition after becoming trapped under water at one of the park's pools. The employee, whose name and age have not been released, was cleaning the pool when the incident happened. A fellow employee called for help and another pulled the man from the pool. Orlando police arrived at 10:07am for the "industrial accident." The injured man was treated at the scene and then taken to Dr. P. Phillips Hospital.

Universal Orlando spokesman Tom Schroder said, "At the moment, our attention is focused on assisting our team member and his family. We are also working to understand exactly what happened, but have nothing else to share at this time."

The incident is under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
