The drawbridge on Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle has received new planks and a new, sturdier railing. With the new railing in place, it appears that the drawbridge, which was last raised in 1983, will no longer be functional.
Work is also being done to the seating areas in the area leading up to the castle.
Multiple sources speculate that both changes are due to safety concerns.
