While the park hasn't made it clear yet what the announcement will be, speculation is that it will be related to several new attractions that are currently in the works. The Orlando Sentinel discussed several of these attractions last week, saying that the redevelopment should be complete by 2012 or 2013. With the AVATAR-themed land coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom and the continued popularity of Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter, it only makes sense that SeaWorld would attempt to expand on a similar schedule.
