On the heels of the recently announced Jungle Book-inspired fashions by KENZO, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media has collaborated, for the first time, with Golden State designer Trina Turk to bring fans the Finding Dory Collection.
This collection, which celebrates Dory’s return to the big screen in Disney∙Pixar’s Finding Dory on June 17, 2016, features ready-to-wear beach apparel and accessories for men, women and kids all done in the classic Trina Turk beach style.
Influenced by the California beach lifestyle and vintage looks of the ‘60s and ‘70s, designer Trina Turk, who designs for her namesake line, as well as collaborations with brands such as Banana Republic and even Malibu Barbie, found a perfect muse in Dory and her friends.
“Our first designer beachwear collaboration inspired by the world of Disney∙Pixar delivers a colorful and stylish range just in time for summer,” said Josh Silverman, executive vice president, global licensing, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. “The Finding Dory collection from Trina Turk celebrates the much-loved characters from the movie through unique designs offering the perfect blend of fun and fashion.”
Bold colors and fun prints are incorporated into exclusive pieces such as the twist bandeau bikini top (MSRP: $78), a Giselle Romper (MSRP: $228), and a Lil’ Rancho Dress (MSRP: $98).
Menswear includes Biscayne Trunk (MSRP: $178) and accessories feature a Finding Dory Clutch (MSRP: $138) and a Finding Dory Easy Tote (MSRP: $198).
The collection will be available in Trina Turk boutiques and on TrinaTurk.com and DisneyStore.com, as well as at Dillard’s, Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and a wide range of specialty boutiques throughout April. Prices range from $48 – $228.
