Deck: 2 Category: 11C Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 11/30/24

Notes: I was apprehensive about choosing this stateroom. We had previously only had a verandah but this time cost was a factor. We also booked late and it was the last inside available. It is the smallest available category, and it is small. This room only sleeps 3 and unless your 3rd is a small child I would not advise this room. There is a service area behind the room which you do hear a little bit. Not enough that would keep you awake at night though. It would stop around 11:30pm-midnight. We never heard a single thing from the guest corridor. There are not a lot of rooms there, so not a lot of people. The location is right between the mid and forward elevator so you have both to use. The only time we used the elevator was to go up to deck 11, otherwise you are only 1-2 flights of stairs from everything. We did miss having the split bathroom but we are only a party of 2 so it was not that big of a deal. The bathroom has the small tub/shower combo. The tub is child sized. There is a bottle of liquid hand soap at the sink. In the shower there is shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The closets are much smaller than what we have had before. You are not going to store any luggage in there. The desk area has 3 drawers but only 2 that are empty and they are really tiny, almost useless. The 3rd drawer has the hairdryer etc in it which I guess you could move but then you are going to lose either counter space or shelf space. There are 2 hooks on the wall. The beverage cooler is the usual. There is an ice bucket and glasses. The bed is very comfortable with nice crisp linens. Both sides have a shelf and access to light switches but only one side has outlets. One thing with the bed...one side is open to the room but the other side is partially blocked by the sofa. It's a tripping hazard. The virtual porthole is interesting but after 10 minutes you can turn it off and never miss it. One of the switches on the desk is for a nightlight in the ceiling that really isn't going to help you. Bring a cheap night light of your own to plug in at the desk. Overall, the room was in very good repair. There was nothing that we thought looked worn or needed replacing. Not having a window or verandah turned out to be ok. The location, which is important to us, was excellent. I would have no second thoughts about choosing this one again.

Notes: During most of our 7 night Fantasy cruise, 2525 was like a vault. It was very quiet. There is no stateroom on one side; it is some kind of service closet. There was no noise from the shopping areas above on deck 3. Only on the final night was there sporadic noise from below, which may have been from luggage handling prior to disembarking. 2525 is very convenient to the midship elevators and to the lobby area on deck 3. It is also close to Enchanted Garden, which is right around the corner, although the stateroom hallways were never affected by any traffic to that restaurant. The access hallways leading from the elevator area to the stateroom hallways on deck 2 have a little twist to them that almost makes them hidden unless you are looking for them -- it's pretty cool. Deck 2 staterooms are also convenient for port days, as there is only one flight down to the gangways. The virtual porthole seemed to always be showing a port side view since that is the way the porthole "faces" if you were really looking that way. Having the virtual porthole was a nice touch for the inside stateroom. It doesn't really function at night, however, as the image gets grainy. There was just enough room for our family of three. We did not miss the split bathroom from a previous cruise -- the shower, toilet, and sink setup in a single bathroom worked just fine. The shower in particular was fantastic -- good pressure and hot water. The main bed was very comfortable. The trunk/coffee table helped provide for extra storage space along with the drawers and closets. One small flaw is that the bathroom door and the closet doors can conflict with each other. I would pick this specific stateroom 2525 again on either the Dream or Fantasy.

Notes: Very nice room w/some noise last night from the luggage getting moved around. (Nothing to keep me awake, though) Note this does NOT have a pull-down ceiling bad. My 7 yr old wanted to make sure I made note of that.

Notes: Loved this room!!! Great location and would book it again. We did a B2B and had room 5509 for 1st half(Hated it)2525 was so close to mid and foward elevators

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 2525 Condition: 5
Deck: 2 Category: 11C Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 02/20/11

Notes: Although we did not spend much time in the room it was great. We never herd much foot traffic. We herd a few bangs (maybe someone throwing something?). I Would pick this room again. Its nice being on the 2nd floor mid because instead of having to wait for elevators after getting on from the islands you just walk up one flight of stairs. The midship elevators are always busy which is the only downside.
