Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5015 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 10A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 03/02/13

Notes: This was our second cruise with DCL. We wanted to try an inside room with the Magic Porthole (AKA Big Round TV on the wall). It was a lovely room. Fit us 3 (2 adults 1 kid) comfortably. I would say that 4 would have been tight, but you have to judge how long you are actually in the room. Well thought out room layout, luggage stow under the bed, decent sized drawers, but we mixed living out of the suit case and their furniture. The magic porthole was our night light - imagine a TV on without sound and black view. Without it, our room was pitch black. We were surprised at how quiet it was with all those people on the ship. Deck 5 was awesome - same deck as the kids club at the other end of the ship. Really convenient when we picked up DD at 12.30am. We had very choppy conditions where we had to bypass Grand Cayman...the waves were crashing over the port! Our room was salvation! All of us got really sleepy and not sicky.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5015 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 10A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/15/12

Notes: Forward cat 10A cabin. Great location for theater(s), shopping, kids clubs, teen club. Bed is against the far wall when you enter - headboard/magic porthole facing the door. So if the ship is rocking you rock from head to foot, rather than side to side. Preferable for us so we don't feel like we're rolling out of the bed. Magic Porthole is neat - but the quality of the images and graphics is less then we expected and again just 'neat', but nothing I'd pay extra for at all. Noise: Most noise was from the ship in travel - creaking, shuddering on the waves since it's very forward. Docking was noisy with the thrusters...you know when you're docking. There was some - but very little - noise from the teens going up or haging out the stairway on the back side of the room. Not nearly as noisy as we expected in that respect. There were some teens using the hall way as a short cut - but only a few. Our door magnets and fish extender were not tampered with at all. Room is in great shape still.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5015 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 10A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/01/12

Notes: Wanted to try Magic Porthole for 50th, 45th & 10th BDay (same day) and wasn't disappointed. Enjoyed the show and ability to see conditions outside during cruise. Just the right amount of space for family of four with two small children. Could't imagine teenagers in the same room. Bow thrusters a little noisy and theatre backstage during first night of moderate/windy seas. No more theater noise after first night thou. Teen area (vibe) was not as noisy as first thought. No disturbance of door decorations or unnecessary noise. Convenient to shopping, theaters lobby, forward dining rooms & kids labs. Would book another room in same area again.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5015 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 10A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 06/23/12

Notes: The condition of the room was excellent, but then the ship is only 3 months old. For our family of 4, the room felt quite small, especially when we were all in there trying to get changed. The door and corridor into the room felt very narrow. We certainly would not put 4 of us in this size room again. There was lots of storage space, but it didn't seem convenient for clothes storage for us all. We ended up using a suitcase under the bed as a clothes drawer (or perhaps we just packed too much! LOL!). Bed was comfortable, virtual porthole was nice (DH said that with a virtual porthole, there was no need to pay for an oceanview room). Drawbacks to the porthole were that there was noise on the screen at night so we had to switch it off which meant that we couldn't use it to wake us up with the sun rising. We did feel vibrations when docking which surprised me being on deck 5, but it didn't bother us at all. Expecting some noise from the theater, we were surprised not to notice anything. although we did hear what seemed to be noise from the stairwell to Vibe from deck 4 (sounded teens running up/down the metal stairs). Very convenient for the kids clubs and BBB. Although the official route for Vibe is from deck 4, we wondered if some teens were taking the route meant for wheelchair access as we did seem to have groups of them down the hallway more often than we would anticipate.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5015 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 10 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/04/11

Notes: We were very convenient to the Oceneers club/lab, as well as the Buenavista Theater, Walt Disney Theater. We only had three people total. It was enough space, we had a wonderful Stateroom Host his name was Marko. Since we had an inside cabin, we had a virtual porthole and it was alot of fun, you never knew who you were going to see. We had Blush from Nemo, Mikcey and Minnie in the vintage plane, Goofy surfing, and emperorers new groove. Just to name a few.
