Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5186 Condition: 2
Deck: 5 Category: 9A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 01/04/19

Notes: Sail date 1/4/20. Seas were rough and this room moved with every wave and the sounds were just as bad as the movement. Terribly loud engine noise and vibration. We had been placed in room as booked OGT. Room had 1 handicapped bath and it was great. Sofa bed was okay but smelled. Next time I’m taking fabreeze.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 5186 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 9A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 02/20/16

Notes: Do not stay in this room. The noise in it is ridiculous. Most of it comes from the engine/prop though late and night you can hear the bass thumping from the club/bar on deck 4. The vibration noise is so bad, that when the ship is reversing in to Castaway Cay, we were awoken at 5AM to the noise of the room's phone slamming in to the floor as it was shaken off the desk. The whole room was shaking violently. The room is close to the launderette and not too far fro the aft elevators. You have a clear view out the port aft corner. The room also has poor ventilation though I'm not sure if that's just true of all cruise ship rooms. After a hot shower, leaving the bathroom door open makes the room uncomfortably hot and humid, even with the room's cooling at maximum.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5186 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 9B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/28/15

Notes: This was a handicapped accessible room. It was wonderful and very roomy. It had 2 big port holes. It was absolutely beautiful to catch the view coming into Nassau and Castaway Cay! Loved to sit in one and chill out. If you are noise sensitive this may not be the room for you. You can hear the bass from the night club from above. It wasn't an issue for us. It actually put me to sleep :)

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5186 Condition: 3
Deck: 5 Category: 9A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 08/24/15

Notes: Room was great as far as size goes. We had horrible noise from the rudders turning under the boat. We ordered ear plugs which did not help at all. Also had low bass noise from the club. I would not stay in this room again. The 2 port holes was nice and it was roomy but way to noisy for us. We did complain but ended up buying sleep aid in WhiteCaps to help us sleep.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5186 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 9B Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 04/17/11

Notes: From the Aft elevator lobby on Deck 5, turn to the port side at the staircase and then turn Aft in the port hallway. 5186 is at the end of the hallway on the right. 5186 is a Wheelchair Accessible room with an auto door opening mechanism. Unlike the standard rooms It has a full size entry door (for large people that is a blessing), a large bathroom (with all the Handicapped assistance devices), two large closets and ample storage space. It has two (2) 40+ size port holes giving great views from the stern of the ship. If you want a large room this is the type you want. It is a pie shaped room with the same queen bed and cabinets as the other rooms. There are (to our knowledge) 4 of these rooms on the ship in the Aft location, port and starboard. Because of the space needed for a Wheelchair there is a large open area that can accommodate a blow-up mattress for the kids if needed. This room also has the fold out bed in the couch and the bunk bed in the ceiling. The bad part? Depends on how picky you are. It is right above the Evolution Night Club area so at 11pm to 1am it gets the low bass noise from the club. It also vibrates when the screws are running and mostly when they are set in reverse to stop the ship during maneuvering operations when docking. The Aft Mooring Line Servicing Room is on Deck 2 below and the sounds carry to 5186 also. However; none of these sounds bothered us because we understand that being on a ship is different than a WDW Resort Hotel so one expects these sounds.
