Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5513 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 11B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 06/16/18

Notes: We loved the sideways layout of this room. It made the room seem so much bigger. It was very convenient to everything (except laundry). It was quiet because there are very few staterooms in this corridor. The only issue was that a lot of light seemed to shine in around the door at night. I could have solved that by pulling the curtain divider shut, but my daughter doesn't like me to close it while she is on the top bunk. We have this same room booked on the Wonder next year.

Notes: There was a large metal squeaking and banging noise that could be heard all night and in the early mornings. Absolutely horrible.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5513 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 11B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 07/06/15

Notes: Excellent, comfortable room, nicely located for ease of movement around the ship. We cruised Alaska in this interior room and didn't feel we missed not having a veranda --and saved $2K in the process. The sideways design makes the room feel much larger. As another reviewer noted, if you're in the room during the day, you may hear a little noise from the theatre but it's quiet as a church at night. We'll be in this room again on our next cruise. It's great!

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5513 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 11B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 05/01/15

Notes: This sideways room was wonderful. Even though it has less square footage than other rooms, it actually felt larger because of the layout. There is a drop-down bed, so the room sleeps four. It does not have the split bath. It has a single steamer trunk. Location-wise, it is just above the Walt Disney Theater and there was a little noise when there was a movie playing in there (Avengers 2), but it didn't bother us a bit. The location behind the Oceaneers Lab was wonderful, and we were easily able to get to everything. This was a great room!

Notes: LOVE this room!! So much we rebooked it for next year. It's a sideways layout. Sleeps 4. And VERY quite. Staying on the floor means easy accesses to kids clubs and all the activities that are on the main 3 (floors. 3,4,5) Con: this hallway give access to the main crew passage. So there tend to me 1-2 CM in the hallway. However we never heard them..

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5513 Condition: 2
Deck: 5 Category: 11 Location: Forward

Notes: There is some sort of crew passage on the other side of this stateroom. I could hear a heavy metal door being opened and closed at all hours of the night. I was finally moved to an ocean view stateroom when a family disembarked at Nassau. I never got a full nights sleep in room 5513 and would not recommend it to anyone! The room was also very small. I felt like I was always tripping over something, and I was the only one staying in the room!

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 5513 Condition: 2
Deck: 5 Category: 11B Location: Forward

Notes: The deck 5 forward deck plans are very awkward and/or tricky. Like someone else said, it is like going through a maze to get to this room. Maybe it's all the twists and turns, but it feels out of the way of everything. There were also some sporadic noises. The room felt very small for my family of 4. We will never go this small again. Not sure if the inside rooms on the older ships are bigger or if it was just that my kids were bigger (8 & 3), but we were walking all over each other. Our room keys would not unlock our door and it took them a while to fix it so in the mean time, we were upgraded to oceanview! Oceanview has twice as much storage space.

Notes: nice room, I find the air conditioning on this deck to be the best on the ship. This is the sideways cat 11. No major problems. little bit of noise from the theatre underneath but I find it worse further down the hall in room 5501. That's the only noise otherwise its quiet. I liked this location enough to book it again.

Deck: 5 Category: 11 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 05/05/07

Notes: Would stay in this room and location again. Very quiet. Easy access to kids clubs and elevators. Not a big ordeal to go where ever you wish on the ship. Big trunk turned on its side for storage, large closet, plenty room under bed for luggage, sufficient drawers. Worked well for our family of 4. On the pull down bed the rail rattles but if you put a towel over it you can stop it from vibrating. Not a big deal at all. Did not feel the movement at all. Slept well, sometimes too well. Definitely take and illuminated clock.

Deck: 5 Category: 11 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 12/17/05

Notes: We had our 4 teenage kids in this room. It is an inside cabin with good storage space. They chose to have the queen bed seperated to two twins, which gave them slightly less floor space. The problems I had with the cabin were in the bathroom. The shower head was very poor quality, compaired to the cat.8 I was staying in. (5518) The toilet backed up twice on the cruise, but was quickly repaired by the maintenance dept. The room always seemed to have a funny smell (but I think that might have been the teenagers!?!?) Overall I think a cat. 11 with four people can get quite crowded, especially if you don't pick up after yourself (teenagers again). Besides the bathroom problems it was a good room for the 4 of them. They spent little time in it and it does have a great location for shows / shopping / and deck 10 basketball.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5513 Condition: 3
Deck: 5 Category: 11 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 04/28/05

Notes: Room was very quiet. Enough space for 4 of us. Very convenient to everything. Never took elevator b/c being on Deck 5 we took the stairs to everything. However the queen bed had a very large hump in the middle that really bothered my DH and the bathroom had a slight odor. Would love to stay in this area again, but in the Cat 8, so we have a view!!
