Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5634 Condition: 2
Deck: 5 Category: 7A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 11/26/17

Notes: This room has a Navigator's verandah which we really liked. It gave outside but the enclosed nature of the space made it like an extension to the interior of the cabin. The location is excellent for going to the kids clubs, movie theatre and Animator's and Cabanas. We were always close to where we wanted to be. Being aft and on a deck where all of midship has public spaces, there was practically no foot traffic down our part of the hallway. Another bonus is that muster is inside at Animator's Palette (no weather). The room was clean and in good repair. There is NO pull-down bunk from the ceiling for a 3rd/4th person, just the single couch/bed. I found this layout to be much more cramped than the category 5 verandah rooms on deck 8. There were two issues which made it so we would not book this room again... 1. there was a very significant vibration in the cabin at all times. It made it hard to sleep/rest as the walls and lamps would buzz and clink a bit - very noticeable when it was quiet. 2. The cabin is directly over Animator's restaurant. During meal times the music is blaring... but also, they do a music test or practice or something in the middle of the afternoon.. if you have a small child napping, it will jolt them awake for sure!! We would not book this cabin again for those reasons.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 5634 Condition: 5
Deck: 5 Category: 7A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 10/07/16

Notes: We love deck 5 aft. Muster is in Animator’s Palate Dinning room so you sit at a table. Easy to get to four of the five dinning rooms as well as the Buena Vista Theater. There are not a lot of staterooms on deck five so the wait for elevators is not as bad and there is less traffic in the hallways. This is our seventh Disney Cruise and stateroom 5634 was the quietest we’ve been in, i.e.very little creaking. Plus the navigator veranda is what we like.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 5634 Condition: 4
Deck: 5 Category: 7 Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 12/14/06

Notes: This was a great room and location! I love aft because it's so easy to get around. Also, the life boat drill is in AP and not outside. The verandah is showing signs of wear from the weather, but maybe that is by design. Great views of Castaway Cay. Very cozy. It did have a trunk - plenty of room for 3 people on a 3-night cruise. There was a fair amount of noise from above, but I think there were a bunch of kids in that room above. Not too much hall noise. Could not hear any noise from rooms on each side. We would book this one again.
