Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 6510 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 8A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 03/18/17

Notes: This is one of those rooms that is in the hallway where it pushes out a bit, so the room is actually a large square and not a long rectangle. There is a ton of floor space, much more so than the typical Deluxe Oceanview. There is literally enough floor space between the queen bed and the couch to set up a 6-top round table and chairs (if that was actually an option). There are two giant portholes which is great, and you have a beautiful view of CC when docked. Everything worked great, the bed was good, no noise or vibration problems, really close to the laundry room, and just up the hall from the forward stairs. The muster station is on deck four at H, but in the shade so it was not uncomfortable. A few things to note: It doesn't have a split bath, only a single bathroom with a toilet and shower, and has a handicapped accessible shower. The shower is great, but you can get water all over the bathroom if the kids are not careful. The single bathroom does not have the shelves in the standard split bath so there is not a lot of counter space for all of the bathroom items (especially with mom and 2 girls). The biggest drawback to this room is storage space. There is only one set of drawers on the desk, and a single trunk by the couch. There is a reduced sized closet that is only 2/3 the size of the regular closet. There is not the usual additional standing set of drawers that is at the foot of the bed in the standard deluxe, no cabinets above the desk, and no standing steamer trunk. Even though the room isn't specified as handicap accessible, it is, and thus the reduced cabinets I would think. Also, the TV is over next to the door, and is not easy to see from the couch even if you extend the arm. The kids pretty much had to sit on the bed to watch. It does have the two beds for kids (the flip couch and ceiling pullman) but does not come with a dividing curtain to separate the kids beds from the queen. There is velcro on the ceiling, and when we asked our stateroom host, she brought a curtain in that she put up every night. It doesn't go all the way from wall to wall, but it does the job. It was a great room, but not as user friendly for a family of four on a 7-night with the lack of storage.

Deck: 6 Category: 9A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 03/23/15

Notes: Whenever we are on the Dream or Fantasy, we will ALWAYS try to book this room. The square-shaped layout is SO SPACIOUS. The two port-hole windows provide an amazing view of Castaway Cay. No split bath, but we didn't need it at all. Handicapped accessibility meant a large door, flat shower, and plenty of space. Two adults, one teen, and one child and none of us felt cramped. Easy access to the theaters, shops, and ice cream machines. Extremely quiet with hardly any foot traffic. Very far forward, tho, so if motion is a problem for you, you might want to look elsewhere.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6510 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 9A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 01/31/14

Notes: Generally excellent room. The porthole window frame did not get reimagined so it looked a bit rough and the shower may need some upgrading soon as well. Otherwise the room looked great. No problems. Lots of storage for two people, tighter for 4 or for longer cruises. Bed was amazing! Great view of Port Canaveral and Castaway Cay (3-night Bahamas). Close to forward elevators. Quiet room. Long way from aft activities and free soda.

Ship: Disney Fantasy Stateroom: 6510 Condition: 5
Deck: 6 Category: 8A Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 09/28/13

Notes: We loved the size of the room; it is huge compared to most cruise line staterooms. Did feel quite a bit of motion one night that was uncomfortable (seasickness) for one family member. The only issue we would really like to see fixed in this room is the location of the t.v. It is in a very awkward location and hard to view from bed and sofa.

Notes: Fantastic!!!! Huge. 2 floor to ceiling portholes. Sleeps 4 comfortably (2 being children, wouldn't recommend for more than 2 adults). No pole. No split bath. Bathroom huge. No privacy curtain - not an issue. Some noise but not sure why and if it would be different in any other location. Will not sail unless I'm in this room.

Notes: This room is fantastic. It is a Handicapped room. The room has two huge windows. The bathroom is not split, but is huge. The room seems to have a lot more room than our Cat. 5b room had. It was a tossup as to which room we prefer, this or one with a verandah.
