Notes: This was in inside, 'sideways' cabin and it felt much larger than the other inside cabin we stayed in. Much more room to walk around and we would book another sideways cabin in a heartbeat!! Cabin was in great shape. There was a lot of storage. I believe cabin is being refurbished soon to change the bed frame to a taller one that luggage can be stored beneath. This would be great as luggage needed to be stored in closet. I could only locate 2 outlets which meant creativity with charging devices. Found second outlet behind the TV that was helpful but still wish there was even one more. I use a CPAP and a plug next to the bed would have been much better than stretching an extension cord across the room. It was very close to forward elevators but a good walk from most restaurants and the soda station. I hope when the Wonder is dry docked that the install magical portholes! I turned the TV to the camera facing out the front of the ship but a magical porthole would be great! I would highly recommend booking this stateroom!! You won't be disappointed!!!

Notes: Loved the roominess feel of the sideways cabin. Unfortunately the room smelled of mildew especially on the left side of the bed. I noted this on the comment card. Sailed the Dream prior to this cruise and I wish the Dream had taken the sideways cabin idea and ran with it.

Notes: Sideways stateroom, which do seem to be a little more spacious. One thing we were not keen on was that when you open the door, you could easily see whoever was in bed. Had a little bit of noise from the people walking up/down the corridor but not too bad. Everything seemed to work OK. The shower driped a little bit, but didn't make a noise so it didn't bother me too much. Quite a good location for adults as it's near the adult pool and spa which are up three decks.

Notes: The room was "Wonder"ful. The sideways aspect made it feel very roomy due to the furniture layout. There was some wear in the bathroom but nothing terrible (you'd have to be incredibly nitpicky to find it problematic). We slept like the dead every night - no creaking/noise from above or below us. The only thing to be careful of is that if the ship rocks very much you can REALLY feel it in this room. My wife had a really hard time with it on two days that we were really rolling.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6521 Condition: 4
Deck: 6 Category: 11 Location: Forward

Notes: We absolutely loved this stateroom. Because of the sideways layout it felt much more spacious. Because of its location we seemed to get to the adult pool and spa very quickly. This was a distinct advantage as we tended to spent a lot of time in those areas. The stateroom was very quiet. The only thing that we heard in the entire cruise was people standing by our door admiring my Fish Extender. We loved this stateroom so much that we have rebooked it for our next cruise.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 6521 Condition: 3
Deck: 6 Category: 11 Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 08/17/08

Notes: My husband and I stayed in this room for the eastbound Panama Canal cruise (8/08). It is a sideways room and gave the feeling of being a bit larger than the regular cat. 11 staterooms. This room was right next to a crewmember area and was very noisy in the morning and in the evening from 6 to 10 pm, with cleaning carts being pulled out into the hall. The last night of the cruise the noise from luggage being moved went on well past midnight. It is otherwise in a quiet area and we would stay in this 'area' again. It is a long walk to the beverage station on deck 9. I rated the condition of this room as 'average', but the Magic went into drydock a few days after this cruise. We also had trouble with the toilet not flushing, and then would flush on it's own, which happened quite often! We were told this was 'normal' when many toilets were being flushed at the same time causing a vacuum overload?
