Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 7540 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 01/18/24

Notes: Stateroom 7540 - Sleeps 3 (queen bed, sofa bed). Note there is NO pull down berth above the sofa in this room. Starboard side, slightly aft of the forward elevators. Standard verandah with two chairs and one small round table. Connecting room with 7538. This was our 8th Disney cruise overall but our first on the Dream (our prior cruise was our only one on the Fantasy, all others were on the Magic or Wonder). Our most recent cruise was 9 years ago when the Dream and Fantasy were relatively new so we weren't sure how well the ship would have aged. Well she has barely aged at all. This stateroom was a 10/10. The only ding I could give the fit and finishes was that the small oval table in front of the sofa had a very scratched surface. Otherwise the room (including the bathrooms) was in great condition I loved the location - starboard and just slightly aft of the forward elevators. We did not have a dock view of Castaway Cay because the ship backed in which meant our gangway was the farthest walk to get off the boat. We did have a dock view at Cozumel (don't know if that would be the same for all future dockings there though). Only one of the night tables by the bed has a power outlet. The only other power outlets we could find (2 of them) were at the desk. The desk also had a 3rd outlet specifically fitted for the hair dryer that Disney provides. There are no outlets in either of the bathroom rooms. There is a shaver outlet in the ceiling of the room with the tub. Speaking of the hair dryer, the hair dryer that came with the room was our only real problem. It had a retractable cord that wouldn't stay extended. So every time I tried to move it around my head the cord would retract back into the dryer basically making it impossible to use. I went to Guest Services and later someone delivered a hair dryer that didn't have this issue. While the hair dryer was powerful enough to dry my hair, it definitely isn't as good as the one I use at home. We were 4 flights up to Quite Cove where we spent a lot of time. 3 flights down to Buena Vista theater or the upper level of the Walt Disney theater. The room had no maintenance issues and was in great condition. We heard no disruptive noises at all. The shower tub drained completely fine so we were never in standing water. Also, this is a connecting room but we barely heard the family in that room. We had 3 adults in this room (me, my husband and our 24 year old daughter). My husband and I each brought a medium size checked bag. My daughter brought a carry-on. We had no problems storing all of our clothes either in the closets or in the various drawers around the room. We did use all the hangers though. We also brought an over-the-door shoe holder that we hung on the door to the shower room. I used this to store my shoes, hats, sunscreen and other random things so that the stateroom didn't feel as cluttered. The "hallway" from the entrance door to the bed area is very narrow and it's hard for two people to pass by each other if one is entering the room and the other is trying to go to the bathroom for example. But otherwise, we were very comfortable with fitting 3 average-sized adults in the room. We had a wonderful stateroom host - Made. One night after dinner me, my husband and our 24 year old daughter (who was in our stateroom with us) came back after dinner to find the bed made with two towel swans and rose petals. I'm not sure what Made thought might be happening in the room that night given our daughter was with us but it gave us a good laugh. Would I stay in this stateroom again? Absolutely!!!!

Notes: Good views for Nassau and Castaway Cay. Great for easy access to spa and cove cafe. Would stay in this room or one close by again. Was our first cruise so not much to compare it too, but was great overall.

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 7540 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5B Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 10/26/13

Notes: Room is a great size for two people, or even a family of 4, as long as the kids were not too big. Plenty of storage space to keep everything out of sight and keep suitcases away too. The first night the cabin creaked all night and we were worried it would happen every night, but it stopped for the other 6 nights. Every port day, I woke up and thought we were docked when in fact, we were still moving. Barely felt any rocking at night. We loved our room location. Very convenient to midship elevators/stairs, but could also use forward elevators during busier times, or for easy access to adults clubs. Also, was down the hallway a bit, so it wasn't right off the elevators either. Loved the verandah and don't know how we will ever cruise without it. Great view of Castaway Cay from the room too! Only noise we ever heard was the room above us which clearly had two or three kids that were just excited some times. But it never was a big deal as it was only a few minutes at a time, and not even every day. Everything in the cabin was clean and in great working order. We would definitley request the same room again! It was a wonderful first cruising experience.

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 7540 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 10/06/12

Notes: We very much enjoyed this room. Very quiet, had the "locker" for storage. Split bath, nice full view. The 3 of us were comfortable, but needed to ask the stateroom hostess to pad the couch/twin bed, as it was rock hard. She did and it was fine for our little girl. No engine noise and great location on the ship.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 7540 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 5C Location: Forward
  Sail Date: 11/06/11

Notes: Great location - the forward elevators and steps are doors away - no problem with noise from the elevator traffic. There were 3 of us in the room - we had plenty of space and didn't feel crowded at all. Suitcases store under the bed. The only problem we had was with the trunk in the middle of the floor - I think next time we will ask them to remove it - we kept moving it to get it out of the way. Deck 7 was a great location - down to the restaurants and theatre - up to the main deck and more food! The hallways are long in you are coming from aft - suggestion, walk forward on deck 11, then elevator or walk down - doesn't seem as far!

Ship: Disney Magic Stateroom: 7540 Condition: 5
Deck: 7 Category: 4A Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 02/18/11

Notes: This room was so great! We splurged and got a verandah for our ten year anniversary. We wereworried about the kids and the verandah. They have all the bars covered with plexy glass. Very safe! Very quiet area of the ship too. The only thing I would say is, the bed is in the middle of the room. So, it is cramped trying to get around the bed. Not sure where it could be moved though. Some of the furniture had to be moved out to our verandah. Too much in a little area. The room is very close to the elevators and laundry.A+++

Notes: We booked VGT for family of 3 and received stateroom 7540. It was conveniently located by the stairs and elevators. The room was a decent size for a ship. Ive stayed in smaller rooms - one on another line and the other in NYC! The balcony gave it a more spacious feel and had room for two chairs and a table. The couch converted into a bed for our daughter. She slept well, not sure if it was just comfortable or if we wore her out. The queen size bed was heavenly. Between the gentle rocking of the ship and the cozy bed with duvet we had the best sleeps in a long time. Id like to have that bed at my house. The room had a curtain divider between the couch and bed. There is plenty of storage space in the closet and drawers along with the room under the bed for suitcases. The room was made up promptly and turned down every evening complete with towel animals. My daughter loved the towel art. The bathroom was split one for bathtub and sink and the toilet and sink in the other. Everything in the room was clean, in new condition and working order. A lovely room on a beautiful ship!

Ship: Disney Wonder Stateroom: 7540 Condition: 4
Deck: 7 Category: 6 Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 11/22/09

Notes: Room was very comfortable, enough storage for a family of 4. No noise from the room itself, although our neighbors were a bit loud while they were on their veranda. We had s great views of Castaway Cay & Nassau when in port, but got the port side view while at Port Canaveral.
