Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 8048 Report

Notes: We sailed in 2017, not 16 but that wasn't an option in the drop down. We loved this room. It was a great location and we could walk up a few flights af stairs to deck 11 or down to kids clubs, restaurants, etc. We were two doors away from the forward steps so very convenient to get to theater. Forward steps also took us up to adult area and spa. We did quietly walk through adult area at night or morning with our kids to get to pool/cabanas. This room is about 12 doors from midship elevators so not too far to walk down to midship area. We had a beautiful view of Tortola and St. Thomas but not a view of Castaway Cay. We plan to book this room for our next cruise.

Notes: The room in itself is great. Plenty of closet space, stting area during the day is good and the veranda is the highlight of the trip. The showers are not that large and the first one was only warm never got hot. The noise from above is alot. Never woke me up but on pirate night it was really bad.

Notes: The room was neat and clean and in great shape. There was some noise from deck 9 above, especially during the Pirate party, but it wasn't disruptive to our sleeping or our enjoyment of the room. It is in between the aft and mid set of elevators so there isn't much traffic in the hallway.

Notes: While the room was a little small, one must remember this is a cruise ship! The concierge service makes the extra cost well worth it. This is especially true if traveling with children. Loved it, can't wait for return trip! P.S. I am also gifting my son and his bride with this suite for their honeymoon.
