Disney Cruise Line Stateroom number 8559 - Reviews of stateroom number 8559 on the Disney Dream on the Disney Cruise Line.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8559 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 11A Location: Aft
  Sail Date: 09/14/14

Notes: We selected this room so we could experience the virtual porthole. We usually book oceanview rooms, and this room was quite a bit smaller than we are used to. Sleeps 3 (we only had 2)-queen bed & sofa bed. The curtains separating the bed from the sofa were right at the end of the bed making for a real claustrophobic feeling if closed. Limited storage (only one set of drawers in the desk. and 4 small shelves over desk. Porthole was fun, but did have issues with breaking up and freezing often. No split bath.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8559 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 11B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 05/16/13

Notes: This room is not far from the mid-ship elevators at all. It's a great, convenient location. The steward's closet is to the right (next door) however, not one time did I hear any noise coming from there. The room was very quiet. The queen size bed was amazingly comfortable, and my little boy was comfortable on the sofa bed. This stateroom was the perfect size for the two of us, it would be tight, however, for even one more person. The virtual porthole was a nice touch, I kept it on the bridge view, that way I woke up to the sunrise. This stateroom was perfect and I look forward to booking it again.

Notes: we were 2 adults and had enough room. room is very quiet, super dark when the lights are out with a great location in relation to the elevators. conviently located between midship and fwd elevators. just a quick elevator ride up to the adult deck, senses and cove cafe which is nice.

Ship: Disney Dream Stateroom: 8559 Condition: 5
Deck: 8 Category: 11B Location: Mid
  Sail Date: 02/20/11

Notes: It is a quiet room down a hall with few other rooms. Housekeeping tends to park cart near door. It has one queen bed (?) (aprox. 1 foot space around bed) and a sofa that pulls out(really just lies flat) into a bed. The pull out will only sleep one. It is short not good for someone tall I am 5'4" not much extra length past my height. There is the virtual window. Desk, closet, small trunk (which takes up space) and "small" bathroom. Sq ft maybe 2 feet tops of walking space. It is set up for functional space only. It is close to elevators and stairs but not close enough for noise. Nice location for limiting of movement. Felt less in room than other areas of ship. Overall good impression. It is what we thought but it is small 3 person max.
