In Tripadvisor’s 2020 Travelers’ Choice Awards, the Magic Kingdom was named the top amusement park in the world, knocking off Universal’s Islands of Adventure, which held the top spot for the last five years.
Tripadvisor says that they pull together all of the reviews, ratings, and “saves” from their readers and use that information to celebrate the “best of the best.”
In fact, one Tripadvisor reader suggested, “if you can only see one park, it should be the Magic Kingdom.”
In the rankings for the United States, Islands of Adventure falls to number 2, with Disney’s Animal Kingdom coming at at number 3.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach came in first and second in U.S. water parks.
