Epcot International Festival of the Arts

JANUARY 18 - FEBRUARY 25, 2019

Festival of the Arts Overview

The Festival of the Arts made its debut in January 2017 at Epcot. The Festival features art pieces from Disney historical artist Mary Blair and Herb Ryman art of Epcot, to current Disney artists Joe Kaminski and Costa Alavezos. Guests are surrounded by incredible visions where they're able to watch the creative processes happen live before their eyes. New art is created and revealed regularly throughout the Festival so guests can look forward to a new experience every time they visit.

The Epcot International Festival of the Arts in collaboration with Disney Theatrical Productions, brings an exciting showcase of favorite music and Broadway talent to the America Gardens Theatre stage. Over the 39 days of the festival, park Guests will enjoy different pairings of phenomenal Broadway talent in concert, performing songs from some of Disney on Broadway’s award-winning shows, including ‪The Lion King, Mary Poppins, and Aladdin, just to name a few.

New for 2019 - performances will be held every evening and they can be paired with a dining package to complete the experience!

Food Studios throughout the park showcase culinary creations so delicious and intricate, guests may not know if the menus are for admiring or eating. Disney chefs will surely encourage guests it’s the latter. Be sure to bring your patience when making your food purchases as the waits in lines tend to be longer than what you might be used to from the other special events held at Epcot. You see, the focus here is that your food is art; so it will be served to you looking gorgeous! The Cast Members take a little more time in preparing and making each serving look just right.

The 2019 event provides fun every day for the whole family, including mesmerizing performance art, favorite Disney characters channeling their favorite artists, complimentary seminars, hands-on activities, special merchandise created just for the festival, and much more:

The festival is included with regular Epcot admission.

    2018 Special Merchandise

Recently on the Disney Parks Blog, Communications Manager Steven Miller revealed some of the new merchandise guests can get excited about for the upcoming festival!

Disney’s merchandise design team has brought back many of last year’s favorites including apparel, pins, and drinkware, but of course, they’ve also mixed in new items for this year’s festival.

This year’s logo features a colorful silhouette of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Rafiki. This vibrant logo will adorn many of the merchandise pieces, and will also be displayed on banners throughout the festival.

Of course, Disney has also included a number of Figment-themed souvenirs including limited edition pins that are inspired by well-known pieces of art (for example Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa”). Annual Passholders will also find him on “specially designed apparel, drinkware, and a limited edition pin.”
