We have seen some discussion online this morning from folks who saw that residents in the UK could purchase brand new Walt Disney World Annual Passes.
Here’s the actual scoop; when you visit the UK Walt Disney World website, you may notice that the option to put a new Annual Pass into your cart has appeared. You can successfully add it to your online cart, but if you try to check out, you will not be able to complete your purchase.
What we know: Disney works on their website(s) at all hours of the day, and we’ve seen some fairly interesting things pop up from time to time. Typically when we see these types of things, they don’t stay for long and it usually indicates that something could be coming back. Without being able to complete the purchase, we can’t confirm that this instance isn’t just a glitch.
What we DON’T know: When Walt Disney World will begin selling new Annual Passes to guests who don’t already have one that they didn’t cancel.
