Disney’s Blizzard Beach water slides closed due to broken water pipe

Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher, water slides at Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park, have been closed since the middle of March. Disney is now confirming that this is due to a broken water pipe. The Orlando Sentinel said that in March, “Disney’s construction arm filed a notice of commencement for a project titled, ‘BB March 16 Summit Leak.’”

Blizzard Beach was closed early last week, as well as for a few days the first week of April. In addition, the water slides were closed back in September for “an extended period.” Paperwork was filed at that time for pipe replacement.

So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
