Interestingly, both SeaWorld and Walt Disney World had lower than normal attendance for that time period. Universal reports that their attendance stayed steady. Hotel occupancy was down for the quarter, but condo and home rentals were up significantly.
Visit Florida, a tourism group, said of those 30 million visitors, 25.6 million were domestic visitors, up 6.6 percent from last year. The airports report a similar increase.
