Walt Disney World has resumed the sale of the Sorcerer Pass for Disney Vacation Club Members today, but the launch didn’t go off without a hitch.
When this Annual Pass type went on sale early Thursday morning, many folks began reporting on various social media outlets that they couldn’t get the site to load or that they’d see an error message pop up when they tried to finalize their purchase.
According to numerous posts on our DVC Fan Facebook group, DVC Members began calling Member Services promptly at 9:00 am Eastern to see if they could complete their purchases over the phone. Some Members reported success, while others have been on hold for quite some time already.
The IT Department at Disney has now put a Virtual Queue into place, as they’ve done many times in the past, in anticipation of the demand on their website. While the approximate wait time appears to continue recalculating, it appears more folks are succeeding.
