Wheelchairs no longer complimentary at Disney World water parks

Wheelchairs are no longer complimentary and will have to be rented at the Walt Disney World waterparks. The rental location at Typhoon Lagoon is at Singapore Sal’s and at Blizzard Beach, they can be rented at the Beach Haus. The cost is $12, with a $100 refundable deposit.

If you keep your receipt, you will not have to pay for a wheelchair for the rest of the day at the theme parks. However, this does not guarantee availability at the theme parks.



ECVs can be rented at the water parks for $50 with a $100 refundable deposit.
