It seems that Jasmine has debuted a new costume this past weekend at Walt Disney World. Posters on the DISboards are discussing her new look, which was seen for the first time on Friday at the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season.
Instead of her normal bikini-style top and wide legged pants, Jasmine is now wearing more of a dress-style outfit. The bodice does not leave any skin exposed and the bottom consists of pants with a sheer skirt over them. It is reminiscent of her old costume, but definitely has a different feel to it.
Reviews on the thread are mostly negative, questioning why the change has taken place. Poster also think this is too far removed from what Jasmine wears in the film. Many are suggesting that Disney wanted to keep the princess from “showing too much skin” due to complaints.
Many posters are also commenting on what appears to be a new wig as well. In the photos shared on the thread, Jasmine now has bangs, a new change from previous looks.
