Walt Disney World directional sign falls on road sign after being hit by SUV

An overhead directional sign has fallen on the road at Walt Disney World after an SUV crashed into the pole. The incident happened around 3:15pm on Saturday afternoon on World Drive, near Epcot Center Drive. A Dodge Durango left the road, hit a guardrail, then one of the support poles for the road sign, causing the sign to fall and block the southbound lanes on World Drive.

The driver of the SUV was taken to Celebration Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Sgt. Kim Montes, Florida Highway Patrol.
