New Disney Springs Mural by Liz Flores Honors Women’s History

One of my favorite spots to visit in Walt Disney World is the Disney Springs Art Walk, where local artists share their stories on a public canvas. With seasonal events and fresh talent, there’s always something new and inspiring to discover!

Chicago artist Liz Flores has put the finishing touches on the latest mural to join the Disney Springs Art Walk: A Canvas of Expression during Women’s History Month.

Flores says the mural, titled “Fortaleza,” is meant to communicate a feeling of strength and resilience with four people coming together to support one another.

The art walk is also one of the many ways guests can experience “Celebrate HER Story” at Walt Disney World, with several murals by women artists that are viewable year-round.
