Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After – A Fantastic Addition to Hollywood Studios

When it comes to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, I think that the more shows there are, the better. There could never be enough of them, and the new Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After brings a delightfully wicked story to some of our most beloved Disney Villains.

The show is presented every half hour during the bulk of the day, with shows on the hour in the mornings and evenings. You’ll need to check the My Disney Experience app for performance times on the day you visit, as this show is not to be missed. While the queue is outside the theater, there are plenty of umbrellas to provide shade, but it can be hot, so we recommend bringing a handheld fan.

First of all, this live stage show is an absolute riot. The 15–20-minute performance invites guests into the Magic Mirror’s realm, where iconic villains such as Maleficent, Captain Hook, and Cruella de Vil plead their cases as the most misunderstood baddies in Disney lore. The audience gets to decide who deserves a second chance, making each performance interactive and unique.

The show’s production is nothing short of magical. With a blend of live performances and high-tech visuals, the stage seamlessly transforms into each villain’s lair. The Magic Mirror serves as both narrator and judge, guiding the audience through a series of musical numbers and dramatic monologues. The original songs are catchy and theatrical, adding depth to each character’s plea.

Beyond the leading characters, fans will just love being able to spot more than 85 villains making cameo appearances through digital projections and clever stagecraft. From Hades to Yzma, the show is a treasure trove of Disney’s most infamous characters. It’s a feast for the eyes that will keep audiences amused and entertained from start to finish.
