The Disneyland 70th Anniversary has been celebrating happily since May, and we can’t get enough of all the merchandise, food options, and festivities. This week, the latest series of Disneyland 70th merchandise has debuted in the California Disney Parks with the arrival of the Celebrate Happy Collection.
Within this collection, you’ll find a Loungefly Mini Backpack, Minnie Mouse Ear Headband, and Zip Up Hoodie all themed to a blue, pink, yellow, and purple ombre hue. There is something about this collection that resonates with the colorful theme of this celebration. A creative element that caught my attention from the beginning was the bright and vibrant color scheme created for the event, a substantial departure from royal blues and metals we’ve seen in other anniversary celebrations. Where most Disney Parks’ anniversary occasions tend to opt for regal dulled blues and purples, Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary has found warmth and excitement in a mix of radiant pinks, playful purples, bold blues and warm oranges, offering a delightful color palette that often forms a sunrise/sunset ombre effect for merchandise and related decorations. It’s a beautiful way to highlight the joy in the occasion, bringing the sheer fun back to Disneyland merchandise.
