Hey, friends! If you’re spending your weekend just chilling, looking to catch up on some of your favorite, escapist topics (like all things Disney!), The DIS is the place to be! We like to kick back and relax, whipping up some of our Disney Parks favorites in the kitchen during our Saturday Cooking Sesh and indulging in some behind-the-scenes magic on Sunday. This week, we are circling back to a topic from last month, when Frozen, the hit Broadway Musical, was released on Disney+. I love it when home audiences can see a spectacular production, usually reserved for the viewing pleasure of theatregoers on Broadway or in the West End, in the comfort of their own homes. It’s such an incredible opportunity to see the creativity and beauty of stage shows like Hamilton, broadening audience appreciation with the gift of theatre. It’s incredible.
The most recent addition to our theatrical education was Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical, which arrived on Disney+ on June 20th. If you’ve ever been a fan of Disney’s animated classic Frozen, you will love this musical retelling of the story with elaborate sets, stunning costumes, and fantastic performances as you are taken inside the theatre for a private showing of the Broadway adaptation.
