At Destination D23, Disneyland Resort culinary director John State revealed a brand-new artist concept rendering of the updated Napa Rose patio at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The restaurant is currently closed for renovation, and fans were given an early glimpse of the refreshed al fresco dining space, which will feature Disney California Adventure park as the backdrop for a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.
When it reopens, the award-winning Napa Rose will offer an enhanced dining experience that combines classic Craftsman style with modern Californian elegance and warmth, creating an atmosphere only Disney can deliver.

The outdoor patio is being redesigned to accommodate more guests for open-air dining. Guests will enjoy being seated comfortably among greenery and gentle lighting, with that lovely California breeze that you can’t help but love. The refreshed space is meant to encourage relaxation and lingering over a meal in a picturesque setting.
New fireplaces will bring added warmth and charm to the patio, creating a welcoming glow as evening falls. Guests can gather by the fire, unwind from their Disney day, and enjoy the inviting atmosphere.
Napa Rose has earned a reputation for its elegant California cuisine, crafted with top-quality ingredients, and the restaurant will debut a new menu designed to cater to a wide range of tastes.
Throughout its history, Napa Rose has also been recognized for exceptional food and wine pairings. Its impressive wine list includes 1,500 labels, from hard-to-find vintages no longer available to the public to selections from small, family-run California wineries.
