Following up from our What’s Disney Doing with the Muppets? deep-dive, our favorite Jim Henson creations are continuing their 70th anniversary celebration by leaping headfirst into the Marvel Universe; cape, banjo, and all. In October, Marvel will release 10 special Muppets variant covers across select titles, paying tribute to some of the most iconic comic book covers in Marvel history.
That’s right: enter another MCU… the Muppet Comic Universe. Somehow, the Muppets have stumbled into Marvel’s multiverse. Possibly through a wormhole, a cosmic cube, or just a trap door backstage at the Muppet Theater.

The full collection of variant covers has been revealed, illustrated by top Marvel artists and reimagine legendary comic moments, including Miss Piggy with the Infinity Gauntlet (watch out, Thanos). The Electric Mayhem are assembling as the Avengers, and Kermit is swinging through New York as Spider-Frog.

Then you have Sam Eagle living out his patriotic dreams as Captain America, and sweet Rolf as… Venom?! Check them all out!
