Guests visiting EPCOT in early November will find one of the park’s most popular attractions temporarily unavailable as Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure undergoes a short refurbishment. Walt Disney World has confirmed that the family-friendly ride, located in the France pavilion in World Showcase, will be closed from November 10 through November 13, 2025, as part of an update that promises to improve both the ride’s visuals and overall guest experience.
When the attraction reopens, visitors can look forward to enhanced digital imagery and more precise 2D projections throughout the ride. The updates are designed to make the animated world of Paris – seen from a rat’s-eye view – appear even sharper and more vibrant. The changes will also extend beyond the show scenes, with new props and lighting elements being added to both the queue and the attraction itself over the coming months.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which opened at EPCOT in 2021, quickly became a guest favorite for its charming storytelling and innovative ride technology. The attraction uses trackless vehicles and immersive screens to shrink guests down to the size of Chef Remy, whisking them through Gusteau’s restaurant in a lively chase filled with humor, aroma effects, and plenty of kitchen chaos.
Disney has not shared additional details on whether the updates will include changes to specific scenes or effects. Still, the improvements are part of the company’s continued effort to enhance the guest experience across the parks.
While the downtime will be brief, Remy fans can rest assured that the little chef will be back in action quickly, serving up even more visual flavor when the attraction reopens on November 14, 2025. Guests visiting later this fall can expect a fresher, brighter, and even more immersive adventure through Remy’s culinary world.
