The beloved Southern California eatery, famous for its pastries, cakes, and California-Cuban dishes, is moving forward with construction on its first-ever location offering sit-down dining and a full bar. For fans who have waited years for Porto’s to join the resort lineup, this early glimpse gives plenty to get excited about.
The newly shared artwork highlights three major areas of the upcoming space: a large outdoor patio, a bold and modern exterior, and a warm interior dining room designed for both quick visits and relaxed meals. The patio space appears to be a key feature, offering shaded seating with greenery and views into the lively Downtown Disney District. The exterior design leans into clean lines, soft colors, and an updated take on Porto’s recognizable style.
Inside, the concept art shows a welcoming, mid-century modern dining room that blends the cozy charm of Porto’s existing bakeries with an elevated restaurant feel. This will be the first Porto’s location to offer table service in addition to its classic bakery counter. That alone sets this project apart, signaling that the Downtown Disney restaurant will provide a new type of experience for longtime fans. The addition of a full bar is also a first for the brand, opening the door for signature cocktails and expanded dinner options to complement the bakery’s Cuban-inspired menu.
Guests can expect Porto’s favorites, including Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls, Refugiados (guava and cheese pastries), cakes, sandwiches, and more.
