As we reported earlier this year, Disneyland Resort will introduce a new perk for hotel guests beginning January 5, 2026. Each guest staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel will receive one entry to a Lightning Lane Multi Pass attraction at either theme park. The entry is valid for one eligible attraction and can be used at any available time during one day of the hotel stay.
Guests gain access to the benefit at check-in. Those who complete Online Check-In before arrival will see the Lightning Lane entry appear in the Disneyland app shortly after 7 a.m. on arrival day. Once the hotel reservation is linked to a MyDisney account, the benefit displays in the app. To use it, guests present the Lightning Lane barcode at their chosen eligible attraction.
This update adds value to on-site stays and connects directly to how Lightning Lane works at Disneyland. Lightning Lane provides guests with a separate, faster queue at select attractions. With the purchase of Lightning Lane passes, guests book return windows and bypass the standby line. The system reduces time spent waiting, increasing the number of attractions guests can experience in a day. For high-demand rides, avoiding long standby waits can often saves an hour or more.
The new hotel benefit functions as a one-time shortcut. Guests will not need to select a return time. They choose an eligible attraction, show the barcode, and enter through Lightning Lane. This flexibility lets guests use the perk when crowds peak or save it for a must-do attraction.
Eligible attractions are listed below, but it’s important to remember that they can vary and remain subject to availability. Popular attractions reach capacity during busy seasons.
