Adam the Woo, a fellow theme park YouTuber, passed away at age 51 in his home in Celebration, FL. Friends and fans were devastated to learn of his sudden passing when Adam’s father posted the news to Facebook Monday evening. Since then, news outlets like People and TMZ have reported the tragic news.

Adam the Woo started his YouTube channel adamthewoo in 2006 featuring theme parks, roadside attractions, 80’s pop culture, and most famously exploring abandoned places and closed theme park attractions. While his videos of going backstage at Disney and Universal parks landed him in some trouble and controversy, he then created his second channel, TheDailyWoo in 2012. TheDailyWoo focused on Adam’s daily vlogs, visiting Disney destinations, fan expos, and most recently, travel to Europe including Disneyland Paris. He was also an active member of the Celebration community, originally built by The Walt Disney Company in 1996.

The outpouring of love for Adam has made one thing abundantly clear, he was a friend to everyone and a fellow-fan with a big heart. This mirrors every interaction we’ve had with Adam, a kind, thoughtful, funny, and laid-back enthusiast whose presence will be greatly missed in the theme parks.
Our team at the DIS Unlimited feels fortunate to be part of this incredible community of Disney YouTubers, made possible by friends and viewers like all of you. Adam was a big part of this community for nearly 20 years and shared the same passion that unites so many parks fans from all over the world.
We join Adam’s nearly 750,000 YouTube followers in mourning his passing and remembering the impact he had on the Disney YouTube community. Adam’s family and friends continue to be in our thoughts as we’re reminded to live life to the fullest, just as Adam did.
