There’s something new cooking over at Boatwright’s Dining Hall.
Disney recently updated the menu at the table-service restaurant inside Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, adding a mix of comfort food staples, seafood options, and a few desserts that look ready to steal the spotlight.
Boatwright’s has always leaned into its Southern roots, and this round of additions keeps that theme intact. Think hearty plates, familiar flavors, and a little Louisiana influence woven in.
Here’s a look at what’s new, based on Disney’s shared images and descriptions. We’ll start with dessert, because why not?
THE SWEET STUFF
Bourbon Chocolate Cake
A layered chocolate cake finished with bourbon-inspired flavor and chocolate accents. It’s clearly aimed at anyone who ends a meal with dessert no matter what. (Pictured above)

STARTERS & SIDES

An iceberg wedge layered with dressing, bacon, crumbled bleu cheese, and tomatoes. Straightforward and familiar.
Bacon and Cheddar Loaded Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes topped with cheddar and bacon. No surprises here. Just comfort food done the obvious way.
Spiced Smoked Gouda Potatoes

Potatoes blended with smoked gouda and seasoning for something a little richer.
MAIN COURSES
Panko Crispy Chicken

Breaded chicken with a golden crust, plated as a solid, filling entrée.
Char-grilled Butcher’s Steak

A grilled steak option served with traditional sides for guests who want something classic.
Chimichurri Grilled Shrimp

Shrimp Pappardelle

Wide pasta ribbons tossed with shrimp and a creamy sauce for a heartier seafood dish.
Taste of the Bayou All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Platter

The update doesn’t completely reinvent Boatwright’s, but it does expand the options. If you’re staying at Port Orleans Riverside or just want a quieter table-service meal away from the theme parks, this one might be worth a look on your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
